His tail was bleeding. Nose is bright red. Dirty and smelly. I truly felt like I was picking him up from a shelter. He was so scared and nervous, it took awhile to calm him down. His bedding is really gross and he needs a bath desperately. I feel like a horrible mom for leaving him here and should have trusted my gut feeling but we had no other option. Annaya was very timid and scared when we arrived but eventually calmed down. A few days later, I texted the owner to see how she was doing. He never replied after 2 days so I called and she appeared fine. when it came time to pick her up after 2 weeks, the owner said he could not do our final training that day because his employee was injured and he was understaffed. We made plans for him to come to our town the next week to do the training at one of their grooming facilities. once we got home, Annaya had terrible diarrhea. we took her to the vet and she had a Giardia parasite that most likely was contracted at the facility. she was fine when we dropped her off. 6 weeks later, we are still treating the Giardia and have incurred an additional $300+ in vet bills. We cancelled the training session with the owner and I texted him asking for a date to reschedule because I don't want Annaya to infect other animals. over a 5 week period, I texted him 6 times with absolutely no response. Even though we paid him $2000 upfront, we are unable to incorporate the training (if any) because we do not know his training methods or commands. we feel completely ripped off and taken advantage of by Lost Creek Traininc Academy. I strongly caution you not to use this facility. We will be contacting the BBB.

And in hind sight, I seriously question Doctor drains ability to provide medical services. Bear in mind, this was not a one time situation or just a bad experience. I ultimately left.And this is my opinion after having gone there numerous times over many years. I no longer take Any of my animals to North park? And I would recommend that people start to check out the holdridge veterinary clinic. I have found better services there overall.

The first time, the lady hung up on me and seemed rushed. The last two times, she couldn't check on him because she didn't know who had him? But she said she'd call back in ten mins. We get to pick him up the next day and he's terrified, shaking, and cowered in his kennel with no water. In addition, the "lady" ,if you can call her that, at the desk was just plain stupid. I asked her about why I never got called back but she couldn't tell me anything but lies like "we tried to call you." No, they didn't. I confirmed my number with a person earlier and so I know they had it. They also didn't try calling my bf either.... and they also had his number. She told me he was in his kennel the whole time except to go out to pee. He never interacted with other dogs or got a chance to play. They were neglectful, rude, lazy..... whatever it was. Not sure what happened because this place came highly recommended but I'm never taking my dog back here again and I made my anger very clear while I was there as well. Rabies shots are all that most groomers require, which they are current on, but they want flu shots, heartworm med (which we give the dog at home, but isn't good enough for the vet), etc. They do a great job grooming our dog, but we won't be taking them back due to the unnecessary things they require that cost a lot of money. When this was mentioned to the staff they did not seem to care. Very disappointing.
