I called to make sure the book was in stock because it is hard to find (I have ordered it from 2 other stores and they canceled the order due to it being out of print). The girl said she would talk to the woman in charge of online ordering and call me the next day. She did not, So I called and just asked if she had a chance to get any information. She stated that the book was not in stock and was actually way more expensive than what I it was listed for. I told her the $57.95 had come out of my account and asked if they could just refund it. She once again told me she would speak to the online ordering person. Moments later (I am on the east coast, so they are 3 hours behind). I get a voicemail threatening to call the cops on me??????? like really? I was kind and patient on the phone, willing to wait for a response and did not DEMAND a refund. This is how you treat people as a small business.? Attached is the transcription of the voicemail (I did not answer because they blocked their number), the withdraw from my bank, and the email confirmation of the order. Talk about shitty business! The book selection is good but so are all the bookmarks and other "trinkets" they sell. Add in all the painting classes they offer and you have yourself a wonderful escape for a book club, friends painting night, etc. They even sell artwork as well! It's truly a wonderful and magical place. Highly recommend a visit!
