I went there to try and donate some books but they refused my donation because it was after 5pm. I…read morewasn't trying to trade them in or anything. They were simply books that I did not want. I tried to leave them there figuring that they would want them to increase their inventory. Instead I was told if I did that he would call the police and charge me with "abandonment"...which I'm pretty sure isn't against the law when it comes to books, but what do I know? I've only been in the legal field for over a decade. He even went outside to write down my license plate and make sure I didn't leave the books in the parking lot. Honestly got the impression that he was being lazy and just didn't want to deal with going through 20 books and cataloging them. Typical of Idahoans...too lazy to do anything. Can't wait to get out of this podunk state. Thankfully the library is right down the street and they were more than happy to accept my donation. Plus they have a used bookstore in there as well which is organized much better and way easier to browse.

They also buy used books, videos, cd's, records, and games. Yesterday I brought six boxes of books, video games, and movies; most were in like new condition. They might sell one quarter of these in the store and ship the rest to their warehouse or for recycling or use in other locations. I was given the great total of $16.11. It was really an insult. Many of these were coffee table size books, and books about things like aircraft, aircraft carriers, Titanic, architecture, history, music. Many originally cost over $40 and were like brand new. Don't expect much but at least they're recycling things for you if you're gonna throw them away anyway.

I was in Nampa today dinking around. It was late afternoon so it was about that time for my mid…read moreday caffeinated beverage. I decided to stop into Flying M to grab a little pick me up. This joint is so much fun. You walk in and you're instantly bombarded with all these fun goodies to look at. Candles, socks, mugs, candy, stickers. As much as I needed that drink, I had to look and touch everything first! I love all the fun things they have out. You can literally spend a good hour checking out every piece of retail available! It was hard not to pick, touch or smell everything! Made my way up to the counter. The first thing you notice is all the baked goods. The display case was full of delicious treats. Every pastry looked divine. That's one thing about Flying M, it's a guarantee that your baked goody is going to be out of this world tasty! I have yet to have a bad pastry at a Flying M. It was finally my turn to order my drink, everyone came in all at once. I was greeted by a handsome smile. I ordered my regular drink when I spec out new spots. So today I got an iced americano with sugar free chocolate with room for cream. I made sure it was a large, I needed a good jolt of caffeine. Bro, this americano was money. The espresso was strong and not watered down. I added the cream so it was the perfect amount. I did add a couple packets of Splenda cause the espresso was not shy in this drink. It was so good! I sat outside and enjoyed it. It was the perfect day to enjoy an iced coffee under the warm sun. Flying M downtown Boise should take come customer service pointers from this joint. It's night and day. I stopped going to the Flying M downtown because the customer service was so inconsistent. Some days they were so nice and then some days the baristas were so rude. I had such a great experience here. The venue is fun. The gentleman that helped me was so nice! My drink was on point! I'm happy I stopped in today. Looking forward to coming back and getting another amazing iced americano.

Bat Man and Marvel comics were his go to. So, coming to this joint only made sense. Yoooooo, this has to be one of the dopest comic book stores around! As soon as you walk in, everything catches your eye! You have Deadpool right at the door. You have beautiful display cases with the most realistic characters in them. Funko Pops nicely organized on shelves. Comic books neatly arranged in bins nicely labeled. It truly is a prestine store. We looked around for a bit. I was just in awww at how cool everything was. My husband was mainly doing the looking. He didn't really find anything that caught his eye. He has a pretty good collection but didn't find what he was specifically looking for. All good cause there's always next time! The gentleman that was working today was really nice! Even though he was mid conversation with another customer, he still greeted us! Very loudly and happily too! The set up of this joint is cool! And the fact that they serve coffee here so you can chill and read a comic is dope. A double shot espresso and a medium house drip coffee totaled $4.35! I had to double check with the barista to ensure that was the correct total, and YES THAT WAS MY TOTAL!!! I wished I had a more time to check out their comic selection, but that will have to be on my next visit. BTW: The house coffee was smooth with a nice nutty flavor (no sweetener or creamer used). My daughter also enjoyed her double espresso shots which sparked her game play during her volleyball match. Now I wished I lived closer to Boise.
