I went in to return for a store credit and in good faith buy a more expensive one , but they would only give me a 10percent credit which amounted to 4 dollars and would not think about returning the defective product they sold me only two days ago. Montclair Smoke Shop is hands down my favorite smoke shop in the area. I've been coming here for…read moreabout eight years, and unless I'm out of state, I pretty much don't go anywhere else. The biggest thing that separates this place from other smoke shops is the selection. When I say they have everything, I mean it. Vapes, hookah supplies, glass pieces, pipes, cleaning and storage supplies, rolling papers, wraps, grinders, lighters, rolling trays, backpacks, and just about every little gizmo or gadget you could think of. If you're looking for something smoking related, there's a very good chance they have it. The customer service has also consistently been 10/10. Everyone I've dealt with here has been extremely friendly and helpful. If they have what you're looking for, they'll help you find it. If they don't, they'll tell you when they expect to have it back or recommend an alternative instead of just sending you on your way. Another thing I really appreciate is their hours. If they say they're open until 11:00 PM, they're open until 11:00 PM. They don't randomly shut the doors early, which makes a huge difference when you need something later at night. After eight years of coming here, they've earned my loyalty. Great people, huge selection, dependable hours, and consistently great service. Absolutely my go to smoke shop in Montclair.

***IF YOU WANT A QUALITY EXPERIENCE GO HERE!!! ****…read more This store is literally top notch!! The store itself is set up so nicely. It's so clean, bright and so inviting. The products are insane. The variety they have is by far the best - hey have things I've never seen before!! The workers there are genuinely A1. By far the sweetest & most knowledgeable staff. I've been there twice and both experiences have been lovely. Every time anyone comes in - the staff stops and will greet you with such a great energy - it instantly brightens your day. The staff asked me things about my preferences, previous experiences and what experience I was looking for. Even though I'm a pretty pro smoker - they gave me such great tips and helped me make a truly informed purchase. I also loved how they encouraged me to try each product I purchased in order to be sure it worked. I can't tell you how much money I've lost from sketchy stores and their made up policies. To wrap it up : these guys are legit and are actually really good all around. Give them a try and don't forget your ID!

He was also very good about not trying to push anything on me that was very pricy - I told him I didn't have a set budget but gave him the price range I wanted to stay in. After reading reviews about how expensive the place was I was a little hesitant to tell him the range but he immediately started pulling out tons of pieces in that range and even below it. The piece I picked was a little more than I originally was going to pay, and he explained that was because it changed colors when you smoked it. He then told me that if I liked it he didn't have a problem selling it to me for the price of the others I was looking at. I was surprised that he was so willing to bargain and drop the price for me, and he explained that when people come in and behave respectfully and normally he has no issue being understanding and fair in return. I would ignore all those reviews about being ripped off or overcharged. From my experience, if you don't come in and act like a frat bro you will be treated fairly and leave happy.
