We spent an extraordinary week here on the island in a self catering cottage near the pier of the passenger ferry at Point. David at the Post Office organised all our groceries before we arrived and since then has provided us with a beautiful whisky. The islanders are all so friendly, and although it was November and the weather wasn't brilliant we had such a warm welcome, that it is going to be hard not to return. You must however, love isolation. But what a place to get in some walking, cycling and watching the world go by on the loch and plenty of photo opportunites. read more
