When I picked her up she was a nervous mess and frightened of everything. After searching & checking with other dog owners I decided to give Sierra Dog Grooming a try and have been more than pleased with the ENTIRE experience; they treat my rescue dog as if she were on her way to Westminster. They don't use cage drying, they hand finish with scissors and are very generous with personal attention. There isn't an extra charge for nervous pets & their customer service to the people is exceptional, too! The shop always smells nice, not kennelish, the dogs are quiet with no nervous or fearful barking, the bandana or bow at the end gives it a spa touch. I've been taking my dog there for over a year for the full treatment -- shampoo, cut, nails, teeth brushed, etc. Recently Sherry advised me that it was time for the spaniel to get a dental. When I asked her for referrals because dog dentals are so expensive she gave me the contact info for a mobile vet service and saved me over $100 in the process! The staff was friendly and patient when I explained my dogs' personalities and fussy food habits. I feel their prices are very reasonable but I lived back East for years and I'm used to paying more. When I picked my dogs up they were clean, happy and energetic. The only thing I wished if there was a warning on the website saying there would be a quarter mile drive on dirt/gravel roads to get to the facilities. If I knew that, I would have drove the truck not the two-seater. Anyhoodle, I will defiantly consider using them in the future.

But the owner, Nicole, was really nice and truly love animals so that end of itself was reassuring. Upon drop off, the ladies at tailtopia again reassured us that he will be fine and we can email or call to check on him. We were overseas so we message tailtopia once a week thru FB messenger and they replied promptly with a photo of our fur baby. 30 days later, we picked up our dog without any issues and military discount came in handy. I cannot thank them enough for caring for our little one. Tailtopia is the only kennel in town that I trust.

In fact, I'm dropping my little guy off to them tomorrow morning! I am an anxiety ridden pet mom when I'm away from my dog. I worry, especially because he gets stressed easily and doesn't like new environments, or strangers. My poor guy freezes up even at the vet he's known forever. But with Anasazi it's totally different. He is excited walking in the door and barely looks back to say bye to me. His reaction alone speaks volumes. Everyone there so clearly loves animals and will go above and beyond to make you feel like your fur baby is in good hands. They remember my dog when i call in, and are always so friendly and accommodating with scheduling! Could not ask for a better boarding experience, and I will always use them in the future! On a camping trip that was cold and wet we called on the chance that we could get our small and senior dogs bathed so we could enjoy their company in our small trailer. Keri not only fit us in at the end of her day, she kept in touch with us during the afternoon to let us know when she would be done with her earlier appointment. She did a great job with bathing, nail trimming and anal cleaning for a very reasonable price. Our dogs can be somewhat difficult with new people and since they are both older with sight and hearing impairments, we were thrilled when we picked them up because they were clean, smelling good and obviously very comfortable with Keri! She treated us and our loved dogs as if we were long standing clients even though she knew we were just passing through.

From the very beginning, the staff was friendly and accommodating. I called them at the last minute due to a change in our holiday travel plans, and they were so quick to accommodate me into their busy schedule. I was immediately put in touch with the amazing person who would be taking care of my fur baby, and we arranged to drop him off ON THANKSGIVING DAY! Who else will do that for you? When I dropped him off, Mayra put me at ease and showed me that my little guy would have his own room where he could play and move about. When we left, I received a message saying that my dog had some treats and went down for a nap. She even sent me a picture of him, throughout the days, she continued to send me updates, pictures and even videos. When I picked him up, he was happy and spunky. I know he had a good weekend there with Mayra. I'm so thankful that I have someone who will take care of my dog the same way I do! These ladies do an amazing job and I can't wait to use them again! This is a hard review to write but I feel it's worth sharing…read more I have been a customer of creature comforts for over eight years and I'm sad to say that new management leaves much to be desired. After hiring a pet sitter to come do two visits during a short day trip we had a huge issue with none of our directions being followed. Our five-month-old puppy was left in the crate to go out after the adult dogs on both visits (sitter put it in her notes) and ended up having an accident during the second visit. The Pet Sitter even noted that the puppy went back into the crate not having gone to the bathroom despite our request to just text us and let us know if we needed to extend the time on our visit. The sitter added to her notes that our neighbor poked his head over the fence and created an issue with the adult dogs which required her to put the puppy in the house unsupervised while she attended to them. When we returned we checked with our neighbor to see what had happened to cause him to peek over the fence. We were shocked to learn that he poked his head over to say hello to which the sitter did not respond or get up from the chair she was sitting in in the backyard. The puppy was not in the yard at all which means he was in his crate. As soon as I saw the notes from the sitter I called Monica the new manager to share my concerns and she agreed 100% that the job was just too much for her new pet sitter. She apologized and offered to take care of our pets herself if our normal pet sitter was not available in the future. When I got the bill the next day I was charged full price for the second visit so I reached out to say that I was shocked I was being charged for the second visit. She quickly responded saying I was right and she should have removed the charge. She actually removed all fees for the whole day which I didn't mention or expect. I thought all was well and we would just move forward. After all this was one rough visit from a newer pet sitter and we have trusted the company for years. WRONG... A few days later I went to book a day trip and my account wasn't working. I messaged Monica to see if she could help. She notified me that they were dropping us as clients because they weren't equipped to train a service dog. To be clear there was no request to train the puppy only to let him out to go potty and play. Needless to say I was incredibly hurt and frustrated. Having been with the company for over 8 years with no issues and many visits every year, this was almost unbelievable. Even more to the point I only discovered we being dropped because I went to book another service. Had I not tried to do so I would have had no idea she was "dropping" us. Especially given the fact that Monica acknowledged the fact that sitter ignored our notes and even added that letting the puppy out first was common sense. We talked to our neighbor who shared that the pet sitter was sitting on the porch the whole time and the puppy wasn't even outside. Now I am searching for a new pet sitter as she refuses to call me and discuss it. She sent an email and apparently I deserve nothing more. I even asked her to reach out so I could share what my neighbor had seen and she refuses to call. I am sad, disappointed and frustrated that this is the situation we are in. I would like to clarify that in the past we have had amazing pet sitters with creature comforts and had zero issues. In fact I used to brag about how amazing creature comforts was to anyone who would listen. Sherry was absolutely amazing and I am hurt by the way this has been handled. Pet parents beware .... Unprofessional management is not trustworthy. When something goes wrong with the sitter the owner seems 100% supportive and understanding then drops you without even saying anything. It's not the same without Sherry.
