I've been going to see her since I was 9 years old...wow! I've gone through all the dental cleanings, brace wearing days, and cavity removals through Dr. Lisa. She is so sweet and very personable. Dr. Huang has been my dentist for more than 5 years now. I am very pleased with all aspects of my care. Dr. Huang is very concerned about my comfort and even during routine cleaning she will ask me if I'm doing okay every couple of minutes. She's very good at what she does and I have great trust in her. She is also very friendly. She has a staff that's very polite and capable and I feel like I'm in great hands with them. There is ample parking and I'm able to get appointments when I need them, which is very nice since I live out of town now. I have been going to Dr. Huang for five years now and she has seen me through thick and thin. I went to her with mostly straight, almost perfect, white teeth. About two years into seeing her I was in a bicycle accident that left my upper jaw fractured, a few teeth cracked, and two teeth completely broken off. She referred me to a great oral surgeon and has since performed on me two root canals along with replacing my broken mouth with two crowns and four veneers, helping to restore my smile and confidence. During and after the root canals, I experienced NO PAIN whatsoever. I have been consistent with my twice yearly cleanings and it is always a quick, pain free experience. Dr Huang is our family dentist for about three years now. She is a very conscientious person and always concerned about my comfort level throughout any given procedure. I used to get anxious during dental visits because of the fear of pain and discomfort associated with certain procedures, but Dr. Huang has alleviated this. She is light-handed, unlike the dentists I've had in the past. She has a really good method of giving the anesthetic injection, making it a lot less uncomfortable. She gives the best prophylaxis with very little discomfort. She is fast but thorough. She has a lot of patients but she is almost always prompt whenever I see her. I am a born and raised resident of the Costa Mesa community. Everyone here is loving, kind, and genuine. We give everyone the respect that we would hope for in return. I took advantage of Dr. Huang's new patient offer, $100 for cleaning and x-rays. Upon going into the dentist and filling out the paperwork, I was shocked to see the dentist was yelling at her office staff. She was telling them they were talking to fast, you need to slow down, you're nervous. She wasn't talking to the receptionist in the front because you can't understand a word she says to you. I finished my paperwork and went into the back. The dentist herself was nice until she started Interrogating me about my past dentist. Asking me questions, where does s/he work, how long has s/he been here, why aren't you going to them now, can you give me their address and phone, etc. I could also tell Dr. Huang doesn't have a hygienist yet, she did the cleaning herself and tore up my entire mouth. No exaggeration needed. When she was done she was telling me to come back to fix a cavity, I told her I'd think about it. Leaving the office, the receptionist in the front again was trying to explain something to me but I couldn't understand her. she refused to let me leave without making an appointment. I called back a couple days later to cancel my future dentist appointment and the front receptionist again wouldn't let me get off the phone without making another appointment. She also grilled me on why I wasn't returning to their office. I feel bad for anyone going to this dentist, I wish you the best of luck. I really hope people who aren't from our community think everyone else is like this. read more
