In response to Jenny B's review regarding Dr. Polly Sweitzer, after an investigation, it has come to my attention that Jenny and her sister run a scam in which the sister is assigned doctorate credentialed therapists and after being seen, submits false claims and sues in the court systems. The sister currently has over 5 cases against very reputable doctors. They all will most likely be thrown out. I find this simply disgusting. In any case, as an interventionist, I have sent many of my cases to Barn Life and all of them have praised the facility as well as Dr. Sweitzer's work. Thank you, Barn Life, for continuing to lean on expert clinical care.

Please proceed with caution if you are considering seeking any advice or guidance by this woman…read more She will act very attentive the first session and you will be duped into thinking she cares and can help. Ms. De Francisco cares about helping herself in terms of adding to her bank account. She had me coming on a regular basis when I sought her services during a time I was struggling. I wish I had went on a shopping spree or took a vacation rather than spend copious amounts of money with this woman. I was vulnerable and under her "spell" so to speak. She convinced me we were doing "intensive work" but really it was either her nodding her head or giving me ridiculous advice. Just one of many snippets of bad advice.....she suggested to relinquish parenting decisions over to my sister as it was her opinion that I wasn't strong enough to handle things with my pre teen child at the time. Mind you, she also knew my sister which is how I was even referred to Jennifer and my sister was vying to get control over my estate. It's all very messy and convoluted. So word of the wise, be selective when it comes to seeking help in difficult times.

If you landed on this review, you're probably looking for someone to help you through a difficult…read moreseason or make meaningful changes in your life. I cannot recommend Courtney enough. Courtney is warm, compassionate, confident, incredibly knowledgeable, and exceptionally skilled. She is easy to connect with and easy to trust. While she is always professional, we also shared quite a few laughs during our sessions. She has a very down to earth, practical approach that makes therapy feel comfortable instead of intimidating. What I appreciate most about Courtney is that her goal is to help you build the skills you need so you can confidently move forward. She isn't interested in keeping people in therapy longer than necessary. She helps you work through challenges, develop healthy coping skills, and then supports you in living your life with confidence, knowing her door is always open if you ever need to come back. My husband and I first found Courtney when we realized our marriage needed help. We had reached a point where the tension between us had become overwhelming, and we needed someone to guide us back to healthier communication. Finding a therapist with the right qualifications wasn't easy, and we spent months waiting through our insurance network before eventually finding Courtney. From our very first sessions, she created a safe environment where both of us felt comfortable expressing our thoughts and emotions. She taught us how to truly listen to one another, communicate more effectively, and work through conflict in a healthier way. The skills she taught us are still part of our marriage today. We still use them whenever disagreements come up, and because of what we learned, arguments resolve much faster with more understanding, appreciation, and respect for each other. Investing in therapy was one of the best investments we've made in our marriage. Courtney helped us move beyond unnecessary conflict and build a stronger, healthier relationship. We continue to be incredibly grateful for the impact she had on our family. About a year ago, my teenage daughter was a passenger in an automobile accident where the car was totaled. They were struck by a car running a red light at a high speed while crossing Pacific Coast Highway. The accident was extremely traumatic, and it happened only days before she was supposed to get her driver's license. She no longer wanted to drive and was understandably struggling. Initially, I chose a therapist through our insurance, but it quickly became clear that my daughter needed someone with more experience treating trauma. Switching her to Courtney was one of the best decisions I could have made. Over the next few months, Courtney built an incredible relationship with my daughter. She earned her trust, helped her process the trauma, and gave her practical tools she continues to use today. My daughter not only got her driver's license, but she regained her confidence and moved forward with her life. Today, she is focused on school, her future, and college. She has become resilient, confident, emotionally aware, and open with our family. As a parent, I knew trauma was beyond my own expertise, and I am so thankful we found someone as qualified and compassionate as Courtney to help guide her through it. Courtney has made a lasting difference in our marriage, our family, and my daughter's life. If you're looking for an experienced therapist who genuinely cares, builds real relationships with her clients, and gives you practical tools that create lasting change, I wholeheartedly recommend her. She is one of those rare professionals whose knowledge, compassion, and skill truly stand out, and we will always be grateful for everything she has done for our family.
