This is a little out of my way but whenever I come to the vestal area I stop here to stock up. They have a large parking lot with easy in and out. Wait to you get inside, it's walls of bottles of every type you can imagine. The service is very friendly and knowledged. I've been here when they have tastings. Liquor Town has great wine! Stopped here last Saturday night for some wine and they had everything and then some. Great prices, good finds, lots to choose from. The place was well stocked and organized. Staff was nice. Will definitely be my go to place to get wine and liquor when I am in this area. They sell wine keys and other accessories you may need as well. Private parking that is small, but I haven't had a problem finding a spot yet. read more

The employees here are extremely rude. They have no appreciation of their customers & have the attitude that there are no other liquor stores in our community. I've tried them twice...thinking they may have been coincidences. Well, today was the third & final time. I felt very unwelcome there, they don't even say hello when you come in, & left immediately. Why should I spend my money at a store where my business is not even appreciated? The answer is: I won't & never will again. They should change their attitude...bad news travels fast, especially in small communities. read more

This is my go to liquor store. They have a wide selection of wines in the $ 8 to $15 range, which is generally my price range. A lot of NYS wine, California wines, and a pretty fair selection from most world wide wine regions. When you add the mixed case...6 bottles of virtually anything in the store, gives you 15% discount... it is easy to stock up! Be aware that they don't sell half bottles and there is no cooler area... so you may have to plan. I'm not much of an expert on harder liquor.. they are expanding their selection, but it isn't as broad as the wine selection. read more

Liquor Town is small. It's sort of hidden. (Between the Vestal post office and a consignment shop.) The selection isn't as extensive as Parkway (down the parkway, natch), but it has great prices...lower than most stores even before the added discounts. Buy 6 bottles of wine, get 15% off each one. If, however, one of the 6 is already on sale, you don't get an additional 15% off, but it still counts towards making the 6 bottle minimum, thus letting you get the discount on the eligible bottles. Make sense? Most other liquor stores require you to buy a full case before giving their discount. (The discount on hard liquor is less. 5%? I don't buy much hard liquor, so I'm not quite sure.) You can always find standard faves (say, get a bottle of the ubiquitous, middle-brow, but yummy K-J Chardonnay for $10.50 or so - this is much appreciated when most restaurants curiously charge $7 or $7.5 for a single glass of it!). But you can also discover something new. read more

This is my go-to place for liquor and wine in town. I've always had a pleasant experience with the people who work there. They're also very knowledgeable. My boyfriend is a bartender and it's nice to know that they've got an idea of what they're selling, especially when he's shopping around to make a new drink for his menu. They've also got a decent selection of Finger Lakes Wines. I'm an FLX fanatic and it's great because the employees have easy access to the wineries for tastings and what-have-you, so they know what they're bringing to the shelves firsthand. And as stated in previous reviews, they do have great prices. I've found that they are at least a dollar less in pricing that Leroy Package and other smaller stores around Binghamton. read more

I have done pretty much all of my business here for the last 15 years and have been extremely satisfied. Until today that is. My wife just called to tell me she was treated extremely rudely by a young woman with long hair at check out. Not sure if she was having a bad day or not, but it's not acceptable. My wife, who doesn't usually do the wine shopping asked a few simple question about the "discount" price for six bottles of wine. The girl pointed to several signs around the room and said there were signs all over the place explaining it. She then pulled 750 MLL bottle out and said, sarcastically, "this a bottle". I told my wife she should have walked out at that point and she now agrees with me. I tried sending a comment thru their website, but was unable to so I'm doing it thru Yelp. If this is the new norm I'm sure Park Manor Liquor would appreciate our business. read more

Great place for wine. Another Yelper said Parkway has a better selection. I'm not sure that's fair. Parkway has shelves and shelves of plonk. When it comes down to interesting wine that's actually worth buying, Liquortown is the place to go. Prices are great, excellent variety, and knowledgeable staff. read more

Look, I know I have a baby face and all, but when you frequent a place to buy wine, etc., you shouldn't need to feel like a slightly-underaged college kid sneaking in with a fake ID to buy Barton's in a plastic bottle. I am very happy with the selection of Finger Lakes wine at Liquor Town. So many other liquor stores here in upstate NY don't and that is ridiculous not supporting the wineries here in our own backyard. The staff seems more knowledgable of their merchandise than average and I have found them pleasant to deal with. Their discounts are great. read more

I have used this liquor store for purchase of wine for the last several months. Today is the last day I think I will buy from them. The man who works at the register needs to go to class 101 for customer service. I usually buy a couple of cases, because my husband and I entertain quite a bit. Today was the straw that broke the camels back. I asked if someone could help me with getting the cases in the car. Apparently it's not in his job description, but he did take one case, oh and by the way, informed me I could take the other --- placed it in my car trunk turned around without a word and went back to the store. Other stores also provide discounts, and treatment is much better. Something I cannot say about this place. Shop elsewhere! read more

I love this store and the staff . They are knowledgable and kind and they offer the very best prices on the widest selection of wines. Always helpful and ready to make a helpful suggestion. Recently I lost a glove in the dead of winter and when I called the store the woman who answered actually went out to the parking lot in the bitter cold to look for it. I'm a 53 year old professional and have been looked down upon each time been in there trying to give them the benefit of the doubt (just a bad day...), but nope!
