One particular day, about a month ago, I stopped in to see if they carry Blanton's Bourbon. It's a single barrel product, hard to find and retails for about $60/bottle. I was VERY excited to see that they had a couple of bottles they had JUST received in. $100. My jaw hit the floor.. I guess they forgot about the "Discount" part of their name and took the supply and demand aspect of retail to heart. No need to ever shop there again as I know they're not against gouging their customers.

The winery offered a nice variety of dry, sweet, and sparkling wines. They also had a couple of specialty cocktails on offer that day. We tried many of the wines and both of the cocktails which were all amazing. They made a blueberry mule that I think was probably the best Moscow mule I have ever had. They also offer charcuterie boards and a butter board. The butter board wasn't being offered that day but we had seen it online and we were excited about it. Rick was nice enough to make us one anyway. We were treated so well that day. The food was stupendous. The winery and the grounds are beautiful and serene. We cannot wait to return to Glen Park!

We sat for awhile listening to the live band and we met some very nice people who shared their table with us ( it was super busy). We sat for awhile and then spent quite a bit of time shopping at the market.....clothes, soap, coffee, and all kinds of crafts! They even had a vendor selling beautiful fresh flowers.
