I must have written my last review of this place 3 years late, as my previous visit to Whitehorse was in 2008. This time around, my Earthwatch trip had ended, and after a good night's sleep, I was packing up to fly home. I stopped in to what the store announced to be "Seniors Only Hour". Maybe there was one other customer in the store, so I could handle the aged "hordes". I was here for the some made in Yukon craft beer to take home, of which the area has plenty to choose from. I came home with 2 kinds (both by Winterlong): Divine Intervention (Oak-Aged Tripel) and Terror (Imperial Stout). If you love IPAs, but are tired of them, this was the place! read more

If you need some liquor, and you're in Whitehorse, then you should buy it here. The selection is actually quite good, for the size of the town. The prices are high, of course, but that's because liquor taxes are high. Prices here are still the best in town. Unfortunately, they close at 6pm. Staff at the store are courteous and professional. read more
