ATTENTION EVERYONE:
DO NOT EVER USE - LIQUOR LOCKER - 1ST AVENUE EVER AGAIN!!!! Treated like complete TRASH the entire time!
Please share this in hope that no one ever has to deal with this horrible situation on their most important day ever.
So my wedding was this past Saturday & got our kegs from Liquor Locker off 1ST AVE in Evansville Indiana. The kegs were delivered with 1 defective, dry rotted, tap. When my bartenders were trying to tap the bud light keg, the tap wouldn't work. They called Liquor Locker & Liquor Locker wouldn't do anything about it. Telling us WE broke the tap. They gave us NO Solutions as to get a new tap to get our kegs tapped for our reception. The tap was dry rotted and faulty. My people tried to get it taken care of before I found out about it which means Liquor Locker had 2 HOURS to get us a new tap OR a solution to getting a new tap. NEITHER WAS DONE. They continued to say we broke it, YET WE DIDN'T. When I was told about this about 5:50pm, I called Liquor Locker irate. Yes, I cussed. OF COURSE I DID. It was MY WEDDING & we paid close to $700 for beer we COULDN'T DRINK! Beer my 200+ guests couldn't enjoy!! I, like everyone else, was given NO SOLUTIONS to fixing this problem but was told it was all OUR fault & they didn't care. My best friends Husband (one of our best friends) went all the way across town, missing some very important parts of our reception, to the Weinbach Liquor Locker & they GLADLY exchanged it for us. By the time he got back, it was close to 7:30-8pm, with the reception to end within the next couple hours. We should've had our 2 KEGS of bud light tapped & almost gone by then but THEY WERE BOTH STILL FULL. We lost SOOO much money with having 1 keg UNTAPPED & 1 barely tapped. I called Liquor Locker on Sunday to speak to the manager and she wasn't there. The lady said her name was Casey (spelling?) & she would be in Monday. Jake and I went in Monday with all 3 kegs & equipment & was told she was gone & that she only came in BEFORE the store opened! So we tell Beth, the assistant manager there that we want to go ahead and return the kegs because we were tired of carrying them around. We explained what happened in a very nice way, no yelling, nothing and she understood, but said she couldn't give any big refunds and that her manager would be the one who had to do it. We got our deposits back for the returns and left. Fast forward to today. I called Liquor Locker today & spoke with the head manager Casey. She was VERY passive aggressive & a smart ass about it all. She was not there during the original situation, but only heard through hearsay what happened. Was I mad? Of course because she pretty much laughed about it all. I kept my cool & said I wanted a refund for the kegs we couldn't use because they gave us a dry rotted, faulty tap and she laughed and said I was not getting a refund. I then raised my voice a smidge & maybe said a cuss word or 2, NOTHING toward her, but more saying it was bullshit. She then proceeded to hang up on me! I called back and she started going off saying she wouldn't be talked to like that & that I had 1 chance to have a conversation to treat her like she had some sense??? I never said anything against her. She was using every chance she could to get out of the conversation. As a matter of fact, she said we should've been charged ANOTHER TAP FEE & DEPOSIT for the tap the Weinbach location switched us for in her passive aggressive condescending tone. I said I wanted to talk to her manager & she said I could email her & I said I would do more than that & SHE HUNG UP ON ME AGAIN.
LIQUOR LOCKER on 1ST AVENUE in EVANSVILLE INDIANA is a complete joke. They offered NO SOLUTIONS as to fix their problem with the dry rotted defective tap. I even told them that we would've GLADLY went and got a tap from another location - as we ended up doing on our own, with no help from them - if they would've offered that solution, BUT THEY DIDN'T. They just kept saying it was our fault and hanging up on us all MULTIPLE TIMES.
I hope they enjoyed getting the BRIDE & GROOM PISSED OFF on their most important day of their lives. read more
