This place was great. Staff were very helpful. They helped us recreate a drink we had somewhere and really liked. They have a tasting area. They let us taste something before we bought it, wich I have never seen that before. Very upscale liquor store. We will be back. read more

If you believe masks are required, I was able to go in the store without a mask, browse, select, and take my purchase to the counter. I breathed air, touched multiple door handles, touched products. This should concern you. If I had COVID-19 but wore a mask I would have been served. You would have a false sense of security. But you would be expose just the same. If I did cough through my mask you could be exposed just the same. Actually, if I didn't wear a mask and coughed in my elbow, you would be more protected. read more

This is the place my daughter and I come to for our wine. They have a large, great selection of wine, ranging from cheap to pricey. This is the place that I go for my son-in-law when I have to get him a hard-to-find bottle of Kentucky bourbon. And yes, they carry good Kentucky bourbon. Being from there, I know what brands to get. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. They know me when I come in because I grab a cart and stock up once a month. read more

This is an awesome liquor store! They have events to sample products. It's a cool atmosphere. Feels like a place you can hang out not just a shop and hit the door kind of place. They had a great selection of wine and beer and anything you could want really. The staff was really friendly and helpful. read more

Came here for whiskey, so this review is focused around that. I was visiting from Texas and wanted some good stuff that I couldn't get back home. All in all, they have an excellent selection, but most was recognizable from Texas liquor stores - at least ones with good selection. I will say it was an excellent selection - very, very good, especially for a mom-n-pop, non-chain store. I just recognized and knew most. But they do carry some stuff from the north and areas I wasn't familiar with. Success! Upon recommendation from the owner, who was the most knowledgeable whiskey person I talked to, I bought a Journeyman rye. No age statement and not a bourbon, so I was dubious. But she spoke highly of it. It was from Southern Michigan and had a price tag of $47. I could stomach that, for a good micro. So I went against my gut and trusted her. (No age statement usually means young, non-complex hot whiskey in my experience.) And it paid off!! Very pleasantly surprised by this excellent, very drinkable whiskey. A good recommendation is worth a lot to me, so that scored big. I'll try to get my whiskey guy in Texas to get some Journeyman for sure. Only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is they need some more whiskey go-to folks on staff. The other guys I talked to were great - wonderful people, nice to talk to, great staff - but their knowledge of whiskey was pretty limited. A place this size with so much good whiskey on hand needs a go-to whiskey person around at all times. Otherwise and all in all, excellent experience. Great store. read more

This store, they had a elder Gentleman who helped us. They has a somewhat large sel of items, but it's the same stuff I can get at Meijer and Costco for half the Price! This store has some very overpriced item. The lady doing the wine tasting was very rude to say the least. Overall, poor selection and overpriced compared to three other liquor stores that's within one miles of this place? Hard Pass for me! read more

Stopped in here while in Evansville from out of town and I have to say I was really impressed. Very clean store over all with pretty cool decor including an old Porsche right inside the entrance. The store is pretty large and has a great selection of beers, liquor, and wines. I will say there was stuff in there that I hadn't ever seen before so it seems like a great place to find more elusive drinks. If you're looking for a liquor store with plenty to choose from I'd definitely recommend this store! read more

Not sure what is more amazing- how many selections they offer or the fact that no one there has any idea what any of them are. You would think with that much wine someone/anyone would know what they are talking about... I was shopping, trying to find a nice bottle of wine and I was told how popular Barefoot was. Oh well, at least the store is gorgeous. read more

Absolute best selection in the tri-state of everything hard to find with alcohol. Impressive growing collection of bourbons and whiskys. Looking for collector releases of alcohol- check out Varsity's current collection. They have the goods. read more

Nice store. Great bourbon selection-especially some esoteric brands. Very helpful staff.

Great staff, great selection. They carry some local Indiana brands that are harder to find too.

Very nice establishment, an asset to Evansville. A wide assortment of beverages, much larger then any other liquor store in the surrounding tri-state area! read more
