Anyway, I can't say enough nice things about this place. Adam, the owner, is super easy to work with. I had done my research, and the leg work myself before even reaching out to them. I had gone in and tried various mattresses in Mattress firm so I could get a feel for them before heading his way. I suggest everyone do this as his place saves you money partially because he doesn't have a giant showroom floor with 100 different beds set up to spend money on. So, go check out the ones you think you're interested in at the big box stores. Then, give him a call with the ones you've narrowed down. once you've picked the best deal, swing by his place, he'll get the mattress for you if you want to try it one more time and then bing bang boom you make the deal and save a ton. I had an issue, but, it wasn't their issue. I tried a comparable tempur pedic mattress in the store, but, the one he had that was close to what I wanted was a version made by tempur pedic for costco. So, I didn't get to try that one out. So, when I got there to his place, he got it ready for me, I did a quick lay down test and we did the paperwork. problem was, because it's hot out and hot in the area where the mattresses are, the foam reacts differently. So, I sank into the bed like I wanted. Problem came later that day (yes, we were able to get same day delivery) we got everything set up. His delivery guys were very nice, quick and clean. They got it setup and later that night we went to sleep on it. It was not as soft as it was in the warehouse. The foam softens in a warm environment, but the house is not that environment lol. I gave it a night, then I gave it a second night. Both nights I woke up in the middle of the nigh with that feeling of, ugh, I think I made a mistake and I can't be stuck on a bed that's not comfortable for me. So, I called Adam and explained my situation. I asked what, if anything, we could do about it. He mentioned how at the stores a bunch of people have tested out those beds that have likely been on the display floor a while, so they don't always have the same feel. So he gave me an option for another model of Tempurpedic. The price difference was fair considering I have to have a crew come back down to deliver another mattress and remove the current mattress. So, to boil it down to the part that might interest you the most, the prices. I priced out the Tempurpedic Luxe Adapt king size mattress and the adjustable base. Most places will charge between $7,698 to maybe $8,198 Mattress Joint came in at $2,950 (and that's with both deliveries (the original and the swap out one) plus it covered removing the old bed and box spring. I will haggle in most of the places I go to, because that's the new yorker in me. However, I will say this... Don't bother haggling. He's going to give you a great deal, it's not worth nickel and diming to save $20 or $50 you're already saving a ton, don't be that person. also, keeping in mind that he and his wife are a mom and pop place, consider paying cash. It saves the businesses on having to pay credit card processing fees (even if the card is linked to your bank account) They're saving you a bunch already return the favor and let them save by not paying processing fees.

The experience from start to finish was superb -- and I truly felt like a valued customer throughout. This was followed by prompt and perfect delivery the next day -- we couldn't be happier. I'll take the superior expertise and service, coupled with pricing that can't be beat, over the large chains and their fancy showrooms. Not to mention how nice it is to experience the old-fashioned family owned business where the customer comes first. Mattress Joint is now our one-stop destination when we need a new mattress.

Thief alert!! Do NOT shop here!! Avoid at all costs!!!…read more Avoid this store/owner (just do a search and owner's name will appear) at all costs and read all the reviews especially this one! Let me first start off with my honest mistake (not even a mistake, just a dishonest store owner) paying for my furniture order at this store in full via personal check (given the strict time line I had). Had I stopped a minute and read the previous reviews I would have been spared. First off, I went in the store made a big purchase. Within days of the purchase the owner contacts me stating, "all is on track", (really just buying time to manipulate my receipts by cancelling items and only delivering a minuscule part of my order), while fleeing with my money; meanwhile, only to be manipulating my receipts and cancelling items (illegal). When asked he stated, "oh, it's just our systems, all is ok for your delivery". Days, after, that same issue, more receipt manipulation by him or his worker (a true crime, it's illegal to manipulate receipts). After calling and getting the same story, I caught on, as he started to make deliveries little by little. Only in the end to not deliver many of the items he was cancelling and I paid for in full. I was ripped off thousands! After, reviewing the reviews, I find he rips people off as a practice, for many have similar stories. I then went to the store to confront him personally. No wonder he has a worker to take the orders and then he is only involved in the communication of feeding you lies. Long story short, when I arrived his employees calls him and puts him on speaker (he is hardly at store only watching cameras from afar because so many people come in with issues of him ripping them off that he knows to never be around). Luckily the assistant must have felt guilty and left him on speaker, for he advised her to call the police. Hearing that and being Black in the US, I knew the time. I happily called the police myself! When the cop arrived and got both stories he advised him to, and I quote, "give the buisness woman her money back!" To no avail, he then offers the cop to offer me like 1/3 of what I'm due. I immediately decline and the cop and I walk out filing a police report on him and his unmonitored unregulated thief buisness. Long story short, in the end I had to sue him; spending thousands more to get my thousands back, only for him to walk away 3 years later (due to covid, courts backed up) basically unaccountable and still practice his thievery. Moreover, beware, he claims to practice only online (Shame on the state of Florida, BBB, and all other so called regulatory agencies that have been contacted throughout by myself and others, but did absolutely nothing on the consumers behalf to protect us and still let's this thief continue to operate and rip people off). **Side-note: This thief and his buisness claims to be strictly online, but this is false; for investigators found that he is very much still operating at the actual store?!?!?! Hopefully, I have spared some hard working and honest people this nightmare, for the law and so called governing/protective consumer agencies obviously feel it's fine for a thief to blatantly manipulate receipts (a crime) and not shut him down, or at least investigate him off of complete reviews alone. When my mother went accompanied by her sister, they parked out front. Gabe came out and asked her to drive to rear of building. After she parked in the back of the shop, Gabe mentioned he was warned by police to not do business, so therefore he didn't want her vehicle in sight. ( Which was 1st red flag) My mother went inside and saw a king size mattress and asked if he could do better on the price. He stated to her that he would have to call the owner and ask her. He called the owner and she stated 700 for mattress, plus delivery fee of $50 plus tax of $49, totaling 799.00 My mother paid, and had the Mattress delivered yesterday 5/6/2020. The mattress was sealed in plastic. when Gabe cut the plastic off, and placed the mattress on my mothers bed platform 1) mattress was NOT the right size king, 2.) the mattress is full of nasty stains, looks as if was used! 3)The measurements on the label , is not the measurements of the mattress! When my mother addressed the issues, Gabe said that was what she bought and that is what was delivered. My mother asked him to exchange it, and Gabe said no can do, that he could get her another mattress for an additional $900! My oldest son spoke to Gabe and Gabe was getting an attitude with my son. So I have taken it upon myself to assist my mother with this. So, since she was not treated fairly I reported to Lauderhill police Dept, BBB, Dept of consumer affairs, Yelp, Google reviews and any/ other review platforms, including social media such as Face Book, Instagram, etc. This is a very unethical and unprofessional way of running a business. Cheating elderly individuals and not being accountable for their lack of professionalism.
