We are extremely grateful for the professionalism with which the repairs were carried out. However, words cannot adequately express our appreciation for Max, the project leader, and his exceptional diligence throughout the entire process. From the outset, Max put our minds at ease by walking us through a clear, step-by-step plan of what to expect. His calm, polite, yet confident, and task-oriented demeanor reassured us that our home was in good hands. And he certainly did not disappoint! His coordination of the various crews--from furniture removal specialists and carpenters to electricians, plumbers, and cleaning professionals--was a masterclass in how a restoration company should operate. All our furniture was carefully removed from our home and stored in a pod so that the repair work could begin. Throughout the process, Max kept us informed with daily updates on what to expect next. He responded to our text messages promptly and consistently served as an excellent liaison between us and the insurance company, ensuring that our preferences and concerns were addressed. When all the repairs were completed and our furniture was returned from storage, we were delighted to discover that every item had been returned without a scratch or any damage. In short, Baystate Restoration did more than repair the damaged rooms on the lower floor of our home; they restored our peace of mind. If you are looking for a company that goes above and beyond expectations, combining exceptional workmanship with empathetic, responsive, and professional customer service, we wholeheartedly recommend Baystate Restoration. And if you have the opportunity to work with Max, you will be in especially good hands! Mzamo M. Amherst, MA

I spoke with a very pleasant woman who assured me Hentnick would "stop by" the following day to review what was desired. Hentnick showed up four days later and left an estimate tucked in our front door. I called Hentnick the following day and accepted the estimate as perhaps a bit low. I was given a start date two months hence. When Hentnick did not show up on the start date I called to get an update on a new date. There was no answer and I left a message. Over the following two weeks I called six times; all to an unanswered phone. I left six messages requesting a call back but received no response. On the seventh call Hentnick, himself, answered and told me he would be starting two weeks hence. He did not show up on the second start date either and didn't call. After more than a dozen calls over the next few weeks I gave up and secured an alternative contractor. Interestingly enough, another neighbor just recently had the same experience with Hentnick of promises made but not kept and phone calls unanswered.
