Absolutely the best!!! I have rental units and Lipa is the only person I'll work with for those and my personal home. Answers the phone every time, will squeeze you in for emergencies and is very reasonably priced. Very service oriented and if he can't fix it, it can't be fixed. read more

Being new to the NOLA area, I wasn't sure what needs to be done to keep our AC units running smoothly and efficiently. Then of course, during the start of summer, our AC unit decides to stop working. I called Orlando on a Saturday morning and he called me back within 2 hours. He came out to my house, evaluated the problem, and fixed it within less than an hour. He had all the necessary parts in his van already. The service charge is the same rate as what you get from our AC companies, but no surcharge on the weekend. I really like Orlando, not only was he efficient, but he took the time to point out to me what went wrong, and what needs to be done in the future for maintenance. I will definitely being calling Orlando for future services. Thank you! read more

I'm a young widow with a 2 year old. When my a/c crapped out just as it started getting hot hot, I wanted to cry. The thought of having to find a repairman on my limited budget who wasn't going to rip me off was just overwhelming. Thanks to fellow yelpers, I found Orlando. He came out on Saturday without charging me a weekend premium. He immediately made me feel comfortable, showing me the problems and how he planned to fix them. I almost started laughing because he kept saying "let me show you. I want you to learn so you don't have to spend money on guys like me." All in all, great service! Fast, friendly and reasonable. I recommend to anyone! read more

Orlando was communicative, kind, and professional. He showed up today (12/23/16) even though it is a national holiday and fixed our problem promptly. He even went and picked up the part needed for the repair with no extra charge. His prices are more than reasonable and I can go and enjoy my holiday knowing that the problem has been resolved! I highly recommended Lipa to all! read more

Having the AC go out in the New Orleans summer feels like an emergency, and it always seems to happen to me on the weekend. In both cases, Orlando came out on a Saturday and got things back up and running. I always felt like his prices were very fair, too. This last time, he spent a long time in my 100 degree attic searching for the problem. In the end, his bill was very reasonable, especially considering the amount of time and sweat he put into getting our house cool again. Overall, Orlando knows his stuff, and you couldn't meet a nicer guy. He's knowledgeable, responsive, prompt, fair, and any number of other positive words. I will be calling Orlando again, and I recommend him to anyone in need of AC repair. read more

LIPA is my new AC & Heating company. Had two other technicians come and changed out parts; which costed me over 500 dollars without success. Orlando came out and was very courteous and professional. Sat with the furnace and ran it for several cycles to make sure it was okay. Furnace was working with only the cost of a service call. I feel that he is knowledgeable, honest and down to earth. I highly recommend LIPA Ac & Heating. read more

After accidentally cutting the wires to the thermostat, Orlando came to our rescue! I consider myself to be somewhat handy, but I just could not figure out what was happening. I called Orlando and told him what happened and that I thought it was a blown transformer. He told me he thinks it's a blown 3 amp fuse. I looked and looked for the fuse and couldn't find it, so he came over at the drop of a hat between his regularly scheduled customers. Of course, Orlando found the fuse right away! He was so helpful and taught me what I needed to know about regularly maintaining my AC unit so I can be a better homeowner. Very thankful for him and will use him exclusively in the future. I can't recommend his service and prices enough! read more

I've had Orlando from Lipa come to repair my AC as well as my heater a few times now. I have an older system, but he always has exactly what is needed to make any necessary repairs and to keep my system running smoothly. He is always prompt and willing to stop by to help. His charges are very modest and he is always up front about any needed parts and extra work, as well as offers recommendations to not only keep my system running smoothly, but to help keep my electric charges down. I strongly recommend Lipa AC for any repairs and maintenance you'd need. read more

Great service! Needed an ac repair on my ac unit for my rental property. I was out of state but Orlando made the transaction easy by meeting with my tenant, completing the repair and keeping me updated the entire way. I was able to pay over the phone and the price was reasonable. read more

Orlando is the man. He is very knowledgeable about his business and took the time on several occasions to help educate me about what I should be doing to help make maintenance easier and save me money. He addressed a problem I was having and gave me the information I needed to make a decision between some options he gave me. The honesty and respect he addresses his customers with leave nothing to be desired. Prices are fair and he is prompt with his response times as well. Orlando is a good man and I would not hesitate to recommend Lipa to anyone! read more

Mr. Orlando was excellent!! He ran late working on the AC of a customer before me, but he still made it a point to come my house later in the evening. He was HONEST which is something you worry about with AC repairmen. He worked quickly and thoroughly explained the issues with my system. His service charge and repair charges were better than reasonable. I recommend him 100%!! read more

We love Orlando! He was our A/C guy in our old home and when we moved, we had him come check out the system on the new house. We moved 45 minutes away and he still came out. Once you find a good A/C guy, you keep them! This week, we had an issue with our upstairs unit on Thursday night and he came out first thing this morning (per our request for a Saturday visit) and he fixed the issue, along with servicing both units, adding coolant, replacing a few parts and installing a new digital thermostat. He is so nice and professional and he thoroughly explains what the problem is, why it became a problem and what he is doing to fix it. He is very knowledgeable and his fees are very fair. We highly recommend him! read more

I found Lipa through Yelp. I am from Boston and own a home in New Orleans. I had had two other companies give me estimates before I came down. Both disagreed on the problem and were extraordinarily expensive. I knew I needed a third opinion. Orlando came out immediately the day I arrived in New Orleans. He is just what his excellent reviews said about him!! He is honest, very intelligent, straight forward , kind and persistent in solving problems. He does explain what he is doing and tries to figure out the most economical way to solve the problem. I can't recommend Orlando highly enough! read more

Great experience and good price. He made sure there is no leak and cleaned inner coil .

Orlando Ramirez of Lipa Air Conditioning and Heating is straightforward, friendly, and reliable. I called him at eight while he was on another job- he told us he'd be here by ten and would call us when he left. He was true to his word and was here on time. He even went to the store and got us the correct part at no extra charge for the trip. And it's the day before Christmas Eve, a national holiday. I literally cannot recommend him enough!!! read more

I called Orlando on a Saturday and was thrilled that he answered the phone. He was out within a couple of hours, had the part the AC needed to be fixed, and it was done. He is very courteous and professional. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! read more

Awesome guy!!! Called him at 6:30pm on a Saturday for a rental property. Fixed by 8pm. Great price, service and genuine man!!!

Charged me $300 + $85 service fee for adding 4 pounds of R-410a refrigerant to my unit. That is not honest in my opinion.
