I have visited this small town location a handful of times to pay rent for a unit at another…read morelocation. Their payment system, although doesn't accept a chip, accepts more than one payment option as well. The property has plenty of parking, is clean, and setup for social distancing (one customer at a time). They have plenty of supplies for packing needs as well. Elisha, Earnest, and past employees are hard working and sweet, and they try to understand my payment needs and help as best they can. At the end they handed a large, professional placard to write a review. Of course, I let them know I'm a Yelper! No harm done ... I would come back based on these experiences. Thank you!

My decision to leave Public Storage entirely is the direct result of ongoing unprofessional…read morebehavior from the on-site property manager, Jessica, and severe double standards regarding facility rules.I am leaving due to the following unresolved issues:Targeted Harassment and Micromanagement: The on-site manager consistently monitors, follows, and targets me while I am quietly accessing my unit. I am a 36-year-old paying customer using my space peacefully. Her combative and condescending tone has created a hostile environment, ruining the customer experience.Blatant Policy Double Standards: While the manager threatens paying customers with immediate cleanup and administrative fees over minor operational issues (such as a moving cart temporarily outside a building), she is actively permitting severe policy and safety violations for others.Uninsured, Abandoned Vehicle in Loading Zone: For over a month, an abandoned truck with registration that has been expired for two years and zero insurance has been allowed to permanently occupy a premium parking space reserved for paying customers to load and unload possessions.Management Cover-Up & Liability: When confronted about this vehicle, the manager admitted she knows the owner, claimed the District Manager is aware of it, and falsely claimed the vehicle owner "ripped down the facility towing signs" as an excuse for inaction. This is a massive fire hazard, a liability for Public Storage, and a blatant display of favoritism.I refuse to patronize a corporate facility where paying customers are policed and harassed while illegal, abandoned vehicles are given a free pass by management. My financial information has been removed from auto-pay, my unit will be completely cleared and swept, and my lock will be removed by the end of the month. I expect my account to be closed out with a zero balance. Any attempt to add retaliatory fees to my account ledger will be treated as fraudulent, reported immediately to the Better Business Bureau, and vigorously disputed with the credit bureaus using photographic evidence of the facility's condition.

0 Stars! 5 years I rented from this place. 5 years a paid my monthly dues. Yes, I may have gotten…read morebehind once or twice. I ALWAYS caught up. I held up my end of the deal. I came down last weekend to empty my unit as I now had a place for my couch and a few decorations to find the majority of my things COVERED in rat excrement. COVERED! Never in my wildest dreams did I expect to walk into that. I expected some... but COVERED. I had to throw out more than half my unit. Family heirlooms... gone. Nursery items... gone. A whole mattress and box spring set... GONE. Shelves... GONE. There were other misc items I got rid of. The most painful was my couch and my family heirlooms. I called Monday morning 10/15 to request to speak with a manager. I was told there was not one and that I could speak with the owner. I accepted and waited on a phone call. Finally I call back at 4:30 to speak with someone. The young lady on the other end of the line was very sweet and explained to me that unfortunately there was nothing they would be willing to do because it states in my contract that they are "not responsible for varmint and rodent damage." I find this VERY under-defined for the sheer fact that they have had this issue in the past in my line of units and have now been treating for mice.... I was not made aware of these issues so that I could protect my items. Nothing was offered to rectify this situation. All I asked was they pay (or at least help pay) to have my couch steam cleaned. They refused. Yes, It is in my contract that they are not responsible. However, I feel that this is poor business etiquette. What has happened to customer service? Moral of this story... DON'T RENT HERE.
