So finding myself in October playing my first round of the year at Indian Wells Golf Resort was a little sad, but also a great way to finally kick off my golf season! We had a group of eight friends playing together, and from the moment we pulled up, it was clear this was going to be a special experience. The course is absolutely beautiful, with stunning desert and mountain views, challenging greens, and plenty of water hazards to keep things interesting. You can definitely tell this is an upscale golf resort. The carts are fantastic, equipped with fans and even misters to help keep you cool in the desert heat. Each cart also has a cooler and ball washer, and there's plenty of drinking water available throughout the course, complete with cups. These little touches really make a difference when you're golfing in Palm Springs temperatures! The course itself was in amazing condition. The fairways were beautifully maintained, the greens were challenging but fun, and the pin placements kept things interesting. There's also quite a bit of water throughout the course, which adds to both the beauty and the challenge. Since we were playing a scramble, it took some pressure off those of us who hadn't played much recently. I was pleasantly surprised that despite not having picked up my clubs all year, I managed to keep up and even contribute a few good shots! The staff throughout the resort were friendly and welcoming, and we enjoyed some hot dogs at the turn before heading out for the back nine. Indian Wells isn't exactly inexpensive, but this is definitely one of those courses where you feel you're getting a premium experience for your money. Between the course conditions, beautiful scenery, thoughtful amenities, and excellent service, it's easy to understand why this resort has such a great reputation. My advice? Don't rush your round. Take your time, enjoy the scenery, have a few laughs with your friends, and soak in the entire experience. Highly recommended! I'd absolutely play here again, and hopefully I won't wait until October for my first round next year!

I'm now a 100% believer in the TRUE POWER OF MEDITATION (it is a portal) and I will be meditating for the rest of my life. We were invited by a friend to this so call private golf club to eat. There were literally teenagers working there. The way they dress, talk and no ideas on working in a restaurant or even hospitality. Food presentation was awful and the taste was dried and salty. They never came out to see what we needed. As a customer we had to constantly tell them what to do for all the basic that they should have been trained in. We order coffee. A cup was of coffee was brought out. Where is the creamer. Then creamer was brought out. Can we get a spoon to stir please. Constant back and forth. No self awareness of what is needed on the table or what goes with what. We can hear them laughing aloud in the restaurant as there were only 2 tables with customers including us. We heard recently there was a change of the executive chef, that did not help in quality of the food. But i think they need to re-evaluate the restaurant management and its priority. It appears this club and restaurant services senior people with money, and being private club on a Friday and in Pauma Valley with no nearby restaurants , except for some decent ones in the casinos, they settle for this restaurant. Truly my last time here and will let people know. Hire cooks and service people that want to be in the hospitality business. Not teenagers.
