This is the newest Chinese food buffet in Uvalde. This makes a total of three here in town. And this one is, by far, the best. It's located in the strip mall next door to Radio Shack on the other side of Wal Mart. Four of us had dinner here Saturday night. We arrived about 7:30. The first thing that hits you is how big this place is. And not only that, but the buffet is huge! I think there were four rows of the buffet, with pretty much anything you could think of. They had the usual Chinese buffet fare like fried pork, crab rangoons, fried rice, sesame chicken, etc. They also had various selections of seafood like stuffed crab, crab legs, octopus, and several variations on shrimp. They also had a salad bar. The waitstaff were friendly enough and kept our tea glasses filled. So no complaints there. The business card I picked up on the way out says they're open from 11am to 10pm 7 days a week. Was the food the best I've ever had? No. Is it better than the other two Chinese restaurants in Uvalde? By a long shot! Will I be coming back here again? Definitely. I'm starting them out at 3 stars, and will have to go back a few more times before I can add more as I want to make sure they stay consistent. read more

This was the worst place I've ever eaten in my life. It was about 90° when I walked in I couldn't breathe there with steam everywhere and the food oh where do I even start with the food. The food was so awful the sweet tea tasted like dishwater and the food tasted like diarrhea. Rude workers. And it cost $70 for 6 people to eat. Seriously the worst experience of my life. So overpriced & a waste of my time and money. Save yourself. read more
