Secondly because the owner christine gives to almost every fundraiser I have ever been to. I personally can't go to a salon because well I'm a dude and lets just say I'm folically challenged.. Bahahahaha. My girlfriend was super nervous about having her hair cut from a new place as she had some bad cuts in the past from other places, however; once she emerged from the chair after a cut and color she was very pleased with the results. Not only did she love it, she had enough leftover in her gift certificate to be able to go back when she wants. She also told is bringing a friend along. So if you are looking for a great salon that's locals and affordable Id say give salon viari a try you won't be disappointed.

Its taken me quite a while to find a salon where the stylists are as friendly as family yet as talented as the trendy upscale salons in Boston that cost a fortune. I go to the stylist named Jessie. She's the youngest stylist - mid twenties and absolutely amazing at colors, cuts and blow dries. I have thick, course hair that she has the ability to turn into perfection. If I ever hit the lottery - I will beg her to be my live in hairdresser.

My co-worker had nothing but amazing things to say about Lindsay, Michaela, and Jen, so I called asking to be fit in as soon as possible and was able to be seen that afternoon! Michaela is my life saver! She was so patient and explained all of my options and offered her opinion of what would be best! Evident my her amazing skills as a colorist and stylist she was able to save my hair!!! She asked what I wanted and I said to shape it up and take about an inch off. I told her that the layers needed to be shortened. She cut a very small amount and then dried my hair saying she likes to see how it falls before finishing the cut! WHAT? I explained that my bangs need to be just above my eyebrows and that they shrink when dried. She cut them so short they are well above my eyebrows when dry. My hair looks ridiculous. I have short bags and a long bob that just hangs from lack of style. The charge was $100...I think it was worth perhaps $40 for the color. Needless to say, I won't be back.
