There are two other Bockmann dealers in North America, in Maryland and Texas, but Maple Lane was expecting the model I wanted to be in stock much earlier, and their price was competitive despite the greater distance and shipping expense. (The North American Bockmann distribution center is also in Smith Falls, so Maple Lane doesn't have to include in their sticker price the big shipment fees to bring the new trailers to their site, and the Canadian dollar exchange was very favorable.) Maple Lane's efficiency and customer service are excellent. Marsha knows the rules of importing a trailer to the United States (She has done it many times), and she ungrudgingly spent a lot of time describing the features of the various models, and then making sure the process went as smoothly as possible once I bought it.
