I'm also a candy editor for my job, so this was like being a kid in a candy shop, no pun intended. I was specifically looking for Fruit Stripe gum, since the company decided to discontinue it. They unfortunately did not have it but they had a plethora of other pretty cool candies and chocolates. I ended up buying a few peanut butter cups that I had never seen before, a Hot Tamales candy cane for my fiance, some coconut strip things for myself, and a few other goodies. If money was no object, I also would have bought the Ted Lasso branded candies and ALL of the Golden Girls stuff, as that's one of my favorite TV shows. They had a nice selection of freeze-dried candy as well, which is a new trend, but they were a little expensive, at $7.99 per bag. The saleslady was very friendly here as well and asked if I had any questions or needed help with anything, when I was in the store. There was a refrigerated case with a lot of different flavors of cheese, even a chocolate cheese (which was actually quite delicious- it tasted like fudge but with a cheese consistency and less sugary) so my group purchased about 6 different kinds which we sampled back in our hotel rooms. Honestly all were pretty good but had there been more samples, we might've purchased more. We were also looking forward to watching the cheese being made as their brochures and website state but nothing like this was going on when we were there. If you like cheese, it's still worth a visit but it's not going to take too long. On our itinerary we had allotted an hour and a half here but I think we maybe spent 15 minutes, if that.
