I'd be embarrassed if I worked here. If you look at the Lindora locations at Newport Beach, Sherman Oaks, or Pasadena, which are modern and updated, then this Long Beach location has to be their ugly stepsister. It's not in a great neighborhood, the parking is horrible and the place is depressingly dingy.... and there is a smell to the place that reminds me of an old wet dog. As much as I appreciated everything that the staff has done for me, the prices don't match their image. This was a waste of time. The girls in the front or side desk are busy with there cell phones and the one with the mask on that I can't understand what she's saying at all. The body composition is just a scale and it tells you your weight and BMI and that's it for 30 seconds and if I knew that what was it I would have not wasted my time. The place is dead and they have lots of weight loss products on shelves and I wonder if they have checked to see if they have expired. Not worth the time coming here it's like a Jenny Craig's but a place you have never heard of doing the same thing. read more

If there was an option for a negative star I'd use it. Would not recommended under any circumstances picking Lindora. They only care about money. They don't follow their own contracts and refuse to cancel even when the client meets the terms 100%. Corporate staff is extremely rude. Incompetent. They will charge you long after you've met the terms of any agreement. Paid for an entire YEAR lost maybe 7 pounds. Plan does not work they will upsell you at every turn, buy products, buy injections but buy buy. This location is understaffed and you will wait 45 minutes plus every single time to get the service you're charged an atrocious amount for. There are hundreds of other places you can go. HORRIBLE!!! NOT Directed at the staff in Long Beach directly. Their treatment of a 19-year customer and former employee is outrageous. I so believed in Lindora, I joined the them as a Sales Consultant who sold their programs. I left their employ when I became disappointed with their management, but I remained a customer. Recently, I suspended my plan as I was going to be out of California for approximately five months. I was told the cancellation would be effective immediately. As an additional precaution, I stopped payment on my card as I suspected they would bill me regardless of what I was told. Bottom line: They charged a blocked card and now are threatening collections. They are a poorly managed company and not worthy of your business. read more

I am so incredibly disappointed in Lindora! Unsupportive nurse, hid my medical records, then deleted her own notes! After cancelling my contract, they continue to charge me! Over the years I have used Lindora's supportive staff in my weight loss journey. in April 2018 I signed up for a new program where they offered me 12 months of payments for the unlimited plans for a year. I have always had very supportive nurses and staff work with me. I have a very hectic schedule and am up front with my inability to always meal plan or stay on a specifically timed schedule. In the past, the nurses have always been so wonderful and found ways to work within my hectic schedule. Given that I am only doing this for me, I find no reason to offer lip service I merely discuss where are my hurdles for the day or week and we try to work around them. Well, throughout the summer and fall, I had one nurse in particular (I don't recall her name, middle-aged, brown hair maybe to her chin, wore glasses) who didn't seem to vibe with me. She didn't like that I couldn't be 100% strict on the Lindora program.I didn't see her too often, so it wasn't an issue. In October 2018 I saw her one day and she wanted me to do a protein day, I told her unfortunately I had already had breakfast and so I could not start the protein. She asked me to start one the next day, I told her I would absolutely try and hope I didn't forget first thing in the morning to grab a carb instead of a protein bar since I leave early. This nurse immediately began writing that I was noncompliant with the instructions and that I was not going to be following the diet for the next protein day.The notes were far more aggressive than necessary, especially given that our conversation was maybe 30 seconds long. When I asked her about the notes she wrote and that I didn't feel it reflected our conversation, she immediately locked down her computer so I couldn't see the notes any further and told me I was not allowed to see the notes because they were private medical records. I responded that they were my private records and that didn't make sense. She then went back into the system and seemed to delete the records and then re-locked the system and said she would have someone else come in. I was shocked at this reaction and felt very vulnerable, unsupported by the people are supposed to help me on this journey. Next Danielle, the nurse who has been working/managing the office for years (who is always lovely and responsive) came in to ask what had happened. It was clear the other nurse did not tell her about what happened or the fact that she had deleted her own notes. I explained to her about everything and began crying over the whole thing! Danielle apologized and offered that I did not ever have to see that nurse again. She offered me a box of protein bars which I thanked her for. I explained to her that this was not the way Lindora should ever behave and that given this experience I would not be coming back and that I wanted my contract cancelled.I had not signed up for being demeaned, especially in a place where they are supposed to be supportive and encouraging.Since that time I have not been back and have not ever recommended another person to Lindora. I continued to be charged on my cc for the remainder of the 12 month plan. I was annoyed about this but felt that I had signed the contract even though I barely received 50% of what was promised to me in services. Back in March I received some random boxes from Lindora and called and left a message for Danielle, explaining that I didn't not want any more info from Lindora given that I was so unhappy with the program and had cancelled about 6 months before. I received no response back.A couple of weeks ago I found out that I had been charged for another 2 months of Lindora at $149 per charge! I intended to contest the charges with my cc but before I got a chance to do so, I got a call from Lindora corporate informing me that I had not paid for this month. I told the woman that I would not be paying and that I had cancelled my contract in October. I explained to her the entire event and that it was Lindora who egregiously broke the contract. She told me I had failed to give them 30 days notice that I didn't want their program to continue on a month to month basis. I explained the situation again and that I had cancelled back in October. She put me on hold 2x to talk to a supervisor. She promised me a call back by the end of the day, which was now a week ago. I have received no call and Lindora has not removed the charges from my cc.I finally contested the charges today. I cannot believe that after everything Lindora has put me through, they would promise follow through and then ignore me.This is possibly the worse customer service I have ever experienced. read more

I've gone to 2 different locations along my Lindora journey and this one is my favorite. Everyone is so great and extra helpful. Plus there is plenty of opportunities for a good laugh. It is a positive and welcoming environment which I think is crucial to the weight loss journey. It's very easy to feel self conscious or get down on your self when you slip but all the ladies there are great with helping you get over that bump in the road. I have been very successful on this program compared to others in the past and kept it off. I like that it is medically overseen and you can go in up to 5 days per week. They are very friendly and not overly pushy. They have a great group working there. I just had my second kid 8 weeks ago and I am a total of 12 lbs down and I haven't even been doing the program for 3 week (I am NOT a breastfeeder so I able to get the shots and do the program) .
