I still get there right at 8 to place my order. While waiting with their pager, I will check out other stands. I was sad to hear National Cafe closed and no longer has a stand at the market. They had a good breakfast sandwich. I'm a fan of the Plan B honey stand. I like that the vendor sells the honey sticks. Perfect for putting in a cup of teeth. I like how spread out this market is. I think it helps to keep from having people on to of each other. I imagine it gets quite busy after the first hour. One of these days I'll need to go closer to noon to see how the market is then.

After having a great…read moretime at the Fond Du Lac farmers market and getting a couple great items I looked around for a new Sunday farmers market and I found this one. I drove over from off Lisbon ave and I saw no farmers market so I drove around the whole park and it's all the way in the back. I still almost missed it because it's very small. I had some fresh ribs and cabbage in the slow cooker and I wanted a nice fresh vegetable side to go with it, to my surprise I couldn't find anything because it was mostly flowers, greens, sweets, salsa and basically nothing veggie wise as a side dish, see my pictures. This was the most useless farmers market and all I left with was a pork egg roll that was very average.

I visited the location in the village of Mount Pleasant (near Racine, WI) to check out their 8-acre corn maze. The theme this year is the Loch Ness Monster, but I wouldn't let the theme influence you either way as it did not have a significant impact on the experience. The maze is divided up into different sections/quadrants that can easily be identified by different colored (blue, yellow, white, and green) strips running throughout the maze. The colors don't ruin the level of difficulty; they simply let you know that you are progressing into the next section and are really something of a safety measure. I moved at a relatively brisk pace and was unencumbered by small children. That said, it took me approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes to complete, walking roughly three miles. I thought it was a neat experience, and it gave me a nice touch of nostalgia as I haven't done a corn maze since I was a kid. I recommend checking it out, but I think it would be challenging to do at night or with children requiring a stroller as the ground is obviously dirt and not even. *Also make sure to use the restroom prior to entering
