It's really small, but perfectly formed! They've got a good selection of grocery goods and the usual load of cards, wrapping paper and postal supplies. I don't think it would be the best choice if you're an Ebayer with a mountain of parcels but if you just need a book of stamps and a bar of chocolate then it's perfect and a very friendly little place to call into.

It's a little shop as well, so you can pick up essential groceries (such as chocolate) while you're there. There's parking available at the front although it can be a little awkward as it's on a main junction but generally people will let you through (there's keep clear signs on the road, but they're often ignored). This is only minutes from Robin Hood Airport so it's handy for any last minute essentials before you fly.

It…read moreis owned and run by a couple who know just about everyone in the village and they always have time to talk to everybody who calls in. As well as postal services they sell the usual range of cards and stationery they sell milk, bread and eggs - handy as there isn't another shop in the village. Only complaint is the eggs - I think they're under the impression that because the box says 'fresh' they're free range. They're not! Other than the egg problem my only minor niggle is that there isn't a lot of space and service can sometimes be a little slow, but that all adds to the charm of the place. I'd recommend using it to anyone passing that neck of the woods.

There's a large grocery store to the front which is handy as it's a fairly small village, and a good enough sized Post Office to the rear. They seem to be quite professional in there - uniformed staff who know what they're talking about, and I've never had to queue for too long to be served. It's just a couple of minutes off the M180 so quite handy if you need to get to the PO on the move. It's on the main road through to Epworth, and there's enough parking at the front.

There is a wide range of magazines and comics for the children and a couple of freezer cabinets and chilled counters too. Local papers and magazines can be delivered from this Post Office. The staff are friendly.

I recently had quite a difficult transaction to carry out, but the lady who served me knew her stuff, and I managed without any problems. The Post Office and KeyStore convenience store and newsagents has recently changed hands, much to applause of the local community. The new owners are family run and are friendly and polite. The store is in the middle of updating. The new owner ran Better Butties on Denison road that had a great reputation for quality take-away hot and cold snacks and sandwiches. Within the Post Office & KeyStore there are two Post Office counters; a fair sized general store, with freezer cabinets and fridges for fresh food. Hot pies and pasties are sold at lunchtime with the introduction of Hot sandwiches and salads in the future.

Parking outside is limited and can, on occasions, be very busy. The only time I've had to wait a long time in a queue was when a coachload of American tourists were visiting, buying souvenirs and postcards.
