As a long-time customer of Linder, I will never again take my vehicle to the North Liberty Linder location. Or likely any of their locations. The manager Mark was extremely rude, unhelpful, and told me to get the f##$$ out of his shop. Apparently I wasn't able to explain the issue with my car well enough, so I had the pleasure of hearing him tell me that I was stupid. I have witnessed him verbally abusing his shop guys in a manner that was totally unacceptable. I can no longer support a business whose manager treats customers and employees that way. Linder can do better than that. Sorry for the negative review - have to be honest as Linder has been in the community for many, many years and was the "go to" place. No longer. I have asked around - others had a similar experience. Sorry - please don't ask me to call in to talk about this. I'd rather forget the place existed. read more

Not where you go to get your power steering fixed! I tried getting it fixed here and they have had to redo the power steering once because they put it in completely wrong. A year later and the power steering went out on my vehicle once again. They have cost me thousands of dollars and hundreds of hours trying to get this fixed. read more

I called Linder to get a tire patched and even though they were swamped, they were still able to get my car in and out on the same day. I mentioned I was going to need new tires this fall and they told me to come back once the rebate started in September to get a discount. My tire ended up being non-patchable, so they put all new tires on AND honored the discount I would have gotten had I swapped out my tires in September. I will be going here from now on for all my tire needs. read more

I discovered a large bolt impaled in my tire. As an older woman, alone, I felt helpless - until the guys at Linder Tire helped me! The tire was repaired quickly. Mark suggested they rotate my tires while they had the car and I left 30 minutes later after paying less than expected! I won't go anywhere else! read more

Yesterday going home from the hospital in Cedar Rapids we had a tire emergency. Dummy light came on, next town was North Liberty. Googled tire shop and found Linder. Pulled in around 4:00 pm. Husband asked if we could get our tire fixed and was told the soonest he could get us in would be Friday. WTF???! EMERGENCY TIRE REPAIR...EVER HEARD OF IT?? Husband pulled away ticked off and put on the donut to get us home. Horrible!! I can't believe this is how a tire company runs their business. We called a local tire company and left the SUV with him to get all new tires. You missed out Linder. Iowa Tire in Fairfield is taking care of us. read more

I was stranded 2 hours from home and late for a business meeting after a near accident on 380. Mark took my call at 10 am and I had 4 new tires installed before 3pm. He was knowledgeable and explained my options in an easy to understand way. He didn't pressure me to choose a specific price point, and corrected a potential issue with my tire sensor that wouldn't have been visible or noticed by me-just would have destroyed one of my new tires. We were traveling to Colorado towing our fifth wheel camper when we had a blowout on one of the camper tires. As we had the same problem last year with another of the tires, we decided it was best to replace all 4 of them before continuing our journey. After phoning several tire stores in the area (most did not carry camper tires), we called Linder Tire Service in North Liberty, Iowa. My husband spoke to the manager, Dave, and he had 1 tire on site, but told us he could get 3 more within 1 1/2 hours. We drove there and true to his word, tires arrived on time. Jason, the mechanic, quickly installed them and also checked the tire pressure on our truck. We were back on the road in less than 2 hours without another incident and enjoyed a safe trip to Colorado. We are so appreciative to Dave and his staff for fitting us into their busy day and would highly recommend Linder Tire Service. read more

The best customer service I've ever had! Went here to get a tire fixed and then got stranded in Cedar Rapids, they went above and beyond to make the situation right and get my car working again. I called Linder Tire in North Liberty at 2:52 for an estimate on getting my oil changed. Now I am already back at home at 3:33 content with the work that just got done. For a relatively cheap, fair price, my oil was changed efficiently and effectively. While I waited there for my oil to be changed, the customer service was friendly and helpful.
