However from the point of view of a mere human, Gardenworks is a rather impressive establishment. For starters, it's massive. Beautiful exterior, airy interior, chock full of garden and household goodies, and large nursery section out the back. I was quite impressed that they have a food and wine section (?!?) with a great variety of snacky, gourmet eats. They also have a fairly sizeable section for dog owners... sweet! Gardenworks is a great place to visit if you're planning a complete garden revamp, or simply if you want to grab some hip and happening utensils for your next barbecue. They also have an impressive (read: expensive) selection of outdoor furniture, some of which really took my fancy. The best thing is on Sundays (every 2nd I think) they have a BBQ - so bring the whole family along. And for those single girls out there - there's a bit of eye candy on offer here, if you like the strong, muscly type...

I called Mike to ask advice on what type of soil I needed,he was very helpful, offering advice on the best type of soil and how to apply.Fantastic quality soil,could not be faulted,there were no foreign bodies, stones or any sign of weeds etc Would definitely consider for future use!

Called to 'Kinsealy garden centre' this afternoon, November 21st 2017, to purchase some house…read moreplants. Not only is the place not dog friendly, (The female Owner/ Staff member) meeting me inside the door stating in the not most welcoming of tones.... 'You have to lift up your dog' or words to that effect. Obviously having a small dog on a leash in a garden centre is an issue for this lady. I had just arrived directly from Malahide garden centre and before that both 'Jones's garden centre in Donabate and also 'Tully's at 'Blake's Cross' where walking a well-behaved small dog on a leash posed no problem for the management. Not so at Kinsealy garden centre though. I wonder if they'd be as unwelcoming to Guide dogs, or other assistance dogs. Either way, any person wishing to avail of one of the two pre-assigned car parking areas directly outside the front door of this business better consider going elsewhere, as a male member of management/employee seems to think these two spaces are solely for his own parking... Parked his white 'Seat?' type vehicle across both 'Disabled' parking spots while I was there. Not dog-friendly, but much more importantly, not disabled-driver friendly.

I've been to this garden centre many a time with my family and my partner and especially my father…read morefor which he has spent hundreds and hundreds of euro but we shall never ever set foot inside this garden centre ever again .the manager is most ignorant person I've ever come across .we ordered something of him and when it arrived it wasn't what we discussed it was totally different.and then he proceeded to tell me he hadn't got time for this he had work to do .well im sorry that's your job to order stuff and get what your customer wants because at the end if the day its the customers who keeps your business going and pays your wages .then my partner proceeded to try and close the deal .the girl behind the counter called this ignorant man and then he start raising his voice to the employee and saying ohhh is this the couple that want to take the bench apart which was absolutely disgraceful.this bench was a memorial bench and all i wanted was the centre piece of wood so that we could get the guys name that died carved into it but no this man just ruined absolutely everyting ..will never set foot inside this place again and will certainly tell my friends aswel..p.s all the other staff were amazing plus the girl that was asking my partner was she ok from behind the counter..thankyou

Happened to find myself @ Airside Retail Park today and this was one of the stores I visited. This…read moreis the second time in a year ive been in this particular store. The first time was January 2012 and the sales where on at it was a fecking nightmare. Parking was almost impossible and you would have thought by the crowds thronging into Harvey Normans that they must be giving the stuff away for free. It was wall to wall with shoppers, the staff where trying to appease everybody and it was utter chaos. I was looking to purchase an American style fridge but I couldn't get adequate attention and the other shoppers where growing impatient at having to wait to be served so I left it on that particular day and purchased my fridge later that mid week closer to home. Today was a horse of a different colour. Midweek, afternoon shopping is always best, no crowds, no queues, plenty of parking, relaxed and considerably more staff to attend to your needs. Harvey Norman is a great place to shop, even if you're only looking to browse or you want to test the "expertise" of the staff with more technical queries. The spaciousness of the the store is the fIrst plus. Goods are well spaced out in the furniture and bedding areas, sections of full bedroom displays with made beds is a real classy selling point. I am in the market for a new bedroom so today was a great day to get a feel of what I wanted. I had plenty of time get a good look at the quality, no issue with giving the bed a good try out, or pull the drawers out and examine thoroughly and to take measurements. We where never hassled by the employees, (which is one thing about furniture shopping I hate, pushy sales persons trying to size you up to reach their monthly targets). The staff kept their distance and allowed us to browse occasionally and politely asking of we required assistance. We spent a couple of hours in the store browsing mostly and had a good rummage in the bargain bins strategically dotted about the place. The range is superb, and the prices seem to be competitive. Harvey Norman also arrange finance and you can get a quote or credit check done in minutes by the staff. Like all big boys I loved looking at the 60" Tv screens and the latest hi-tech surround sound systems, the computer section has hundreds of display items all in working order to try out. Knowledgable staff at the camera section where very informing and not sales pushy which is great. I really enjoyed my day off browsing here and i will definitely be back when I have got the bedroom floors down and the decor sorted.

You can buy anything here from garden furniture to paints, to ornamental object, to party stuff for kids and petcare and lots more. I visited the Airside store today and i found the staff very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. They have a 10% discount for OAPS on Thursdays and when i asked if i could get a discount as i had both so much they gave me the 10% off even though i am thankfully a loooooooon way from retiring age. But nice to know they appreciate their customers.

Plantagen, the name reminds me of a cartoon warrior that uses plankton to destroy her enemies. But…read moreit's not, its a cute garden centre opposite Malahide Castle. It probably has the coolest version of the chain coffee shop Insomnia that I have seen, it's in a thatched house. My friend laughed at my awe and thought it was tacky but he's a fool anyhow - it's in a thatched house people, that's like McDonalds in a mosque. I'm not a plant person but I want to be so I started small and got some purple daisy looking things for 99c, they are probably weeds but pretty weeds. I saw a baby Christmas tree there too for €45 which seems steep to me, but then this whole plant thing is a whole new world to me. I think I will get it.
