This location has been updated a lot over the years so I recommend always looking online for all of their requirements and bring everything before coming to save yourself from return trips. The other day was no different went got assigned a ticket # and then proceeded to wait with massive amounts of other people. The robotic machine announcing each distant number while you try to not look around but it's fascinating yet awkward to people watch. So many different types of people. Finally I was called and found a register the person wasn't thrilled to assist but finally got it done then my massive surprise total came up and had to pay with my card then told it's a $10 fee to use which made the total even higher. All I have to say is good luck! But at least I got it done with for now.

I'm from out of state (husband is in the military) & I had a drivers license from Texas originally. When I first walked in I was greeted by a front desk attendant. He directed me to a computer & helped me (when needed) for filing for a Nebraska drivers license. I eventually filled out everything, got my ticket & waited to be called up. It didn't take super long surprisingly! The dmv employee who had helped me was very attentive. He answered all my questions & even helped me with filing with getting a voter registration in the state. Process was quick & I was in & out within under two hours. Would recommend.

Brought everything on their list to get my plates switched over but my prior state failed to report my lein paid off so sit down and wait for approval to process anyway, it's not good enough that I have the release from the bank. Then their payment system is down, no back up, can't finish because they don't have a way for me to pay. Unacceptable Nebraska.

I was trying to get away when one lady yelled at me to GTFO... upon entering the first floor where the guards were, I said to them, wow what is up with those bags up on the next floor, they kicking me out. All the guards said, yes they are bitches, we get soo many complaints about them all the time... and they always ring for help for a storm they start. Both sides have a ticket system and you just wait for your number to be called. Im usually in and out in 15 mins tops. All employees that have helped me have been courteous and friendly. Building is kept clean and there is a bathroom available which is also kept clean.

I'm really amazed at just how easy it is to get in and out of the Cass County Courthouse. Most of…read morethe urban court buildings I've been to, you have to pass through a metal detector and have your stuff x-rayed, and God help you if you have a pocket knife. But not here. There are no metal detectors anywhere. You just walk in, conduct your business and walk out, easy as pie. This building contains the county courts as well as most of the other county functions, such as treasurer, clerk, register of deeds, surveyor and commissioners. It also houses the county probation offices and the local DMV.
