My husband is pretty good at seeing the diamond in the rough, but CP took it to the next level with their vision of what the kitchen could be. They gave us three options with regard to pricing, depending on what materials were picked, and provided us with design pictures that clearly showed what the finished product would look like. While the project took a little longer than expected--due to a backordered item and an unanticipated "surprise" when the old floor was removed--the workmanship was AWESOME and they kept to the budget. In fact, the kitchen turned out so great that the renters ended up purchasing the house from us! CP added value, and we got our investment back right away.

Once we made our selection, they contracted our job to L & S All Out Contracting. It is a smaller contracting team but they are all very knowledgeable and we were impressed with the initial contact with the owner, Michael. He explained how the work would be done, a so nothing they did was a surprise. We were very glad that they. Carefully remove our baseboards and trim, then reused it at the end. They caulked and cleaned it up so nicely, I don't have any touch up to do! That is a lot of labor intensive and attention to detail work, and we are very happy with the results! At the time, we also decided we would be changing the facade of our fireplace so we added some work, independent of the floors, so we could get the floors put in and ready for the fireplace surround change. They made everything so seamless. We also replaced the toilets in the house and added a new shower head. These extra things were really nice to get done at the same time they were doing the floors, rather than having to do it at a later date. When I had any questions throughout the whole process, they explained everything to me. All four, Kyle, Trent, Mitchell and Michael, were very fun to work with and they went out of their way to make sure we were happy at each step of the job!

My electrician won't redo the wiring in my attic unless the old and REACTIVE insulation and other pieces of junk just thrown up there is cleaned out (which is an extremely valid reason). Contacted the guy from B&B Homes again to ask about having them remove the old and reactive insulation from my attic along with the random junk up there since it's an insulation business and I'm pretty sure their website mentioned something about insulation removal being one of their services. All the guy said was "I think you should find a new electrician", implying he would leave the old and reactive (most likely asbestos) insulation in my attic (home built in 1920) and put my electrician in danger and then just cover it up with new insulation still leaving me with reactive insulation (which makes me, my fiancé, and my FIV+ cat SICK) instead of fixing the problem. Would not recommend AT ALL!!! (Also, my electrician has been working in the field for 30+ years, which is MUCH longer than B&B Homes has been in business.)
