So, I called to find out how much t would cost to mount and balance 4 tires on my Wife's Car. "Are…read morethey new or used" I was asked. I replied that they were new. "We don't mount or balance new Tires that weren't bought here because we can't assume the liability" was the reply. Do you mount and balance used Tires I asked? "Yes we do" was the reply. So you can mount used tires that might have acquired cuts, broken cords or other imperfections that might cause an accident or other possible "liability" but not brand new Tires from B.F. Goodrich because they weren't bought through you? Why lie about it and just say we don't mount new tires that you don't buy here? I called their Les Schwab Sister Store in Bonners Ferry (J.B. in Bonners) and asked the same question. They will GLADLY mount NEW or USED Tires for $184 + tax - just call and make an appointment. JB's in in Libby could use a lesson in honest business ethics it would seem. I can't help but wonder what else they're pulling over on their customers; I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Les Schwab has helped me with flat tires numerous times. I seem to pick up bolts in my Buick…read moreEnclave 20 in tires frequently. The first time we were driving home from Missoula and started losing air. We hit Kellogg ID Les Schwab at 5 pm and the guys still took us in and fixed both tires that had bolts in them right away. This last time we were at our cabin south of Troy, 150 miles from home, and sure enough developed a slow leak. I did not want to try to limp back to Spokane on this tire, so my husband graciously said he would limp the car to Troy to see if he could get it fixed. Troy turned him away and told him he would have to go to Libby. So he limped to Libby and found Les Schwab right at the edge of town. They took my car right in and fixed the bolt induced flat and didnt even charge us. A truly customer service focused company that we will always go to for our tire needs!

Also noticed they are not changing the filter since the last time I changed it and I'm pretty sure using conventional oil instead of the synthetic that I use and adamantly tell her to request. Could she be forgetting to relay the message? Possibly but not likely. My truck is a whole different story. Took it to them to put pressure sensors on my winter wheels and right off the bat, they charged me double what was quoted. Then when they program the new sensors, they take over an hour and somehow unprogram my original sensors in the summer wheels. Then of course they tell me I need new sensors in the summer wheels so I just purchase an additional 4 which I immediately had problems with the programming and stop working within the year. Management takes no responsibility and claims that I only had one or two sensors replaced and wants me to get receipts from last year and bring my winter wheels in which they retract when I say, "sure I'll go get them". Then they act like I'm wasting their time taking up a bay when they never did the job I paid for in the first place. Long story short, they are either incompetent because they don't know what they are doing or scamming because they do know what they are doing. From the way they treat my girlfriend and the other women that I've seen go in there, not to mention the nonsense way they went about the sensor issue, I'd say their a snake oil selling shop and recommend just going to Les Schwab down the street.
