I had a 1:00 PM appointment at Provider Plus in O'Fallon for a CPAP fitting. I arrived a little…read moreearly and found the door locked for lunch (12-1 PM, per the sign). No problem -- I waited in my car. At 1:05, they finally unlocked the door, and that's when things went downhill fast. I had been to this location before and remembered it as a clean, well-stocked medical supply shop with helpful staff. That place is gone. What's there now looks and feels like a disorganized call center staffed by people who clearly don't want to be there. Despite literally opening the door moments before, no one acknowledged me when I walked in. When someone finally did, it was only to make me feel like I was inconveniencing them. A man in the back -- who never stood up, never looked at me, and seemed irritated by my existence -- loudly announced that "my appointment was for 12:30," which would have been impossible since the store was locked for lunch at that time. Instead of trying to help or even check the schedule, I was told to leave and make a new appointment, even though I was the only customer there. I promptly walked out, called my doctor, and told them I will never return to Provider Plus. I've asked for all future equipment referrals to go to a different provider. If you value your time, your health, or even basic courtesy, go anywhere else.

I had an extremely unprofessional and discriminatory experience with an employee at this location…read more I am a Black healthcare provider who was directed by my company to visit this Scrubs & Beyond store to obtain my work scrubs (black/gray Grey's Anatomy scrubs). Upon entering, I was not greeted. When I approached the counter to explain my purpose, the employee repeatedly stated that she had never heard of my company and insisted I needed to go to another location. I explained that the owner of my company had advised that this store could call the Concord, Missouri location to verify the order. The employee rolled her eyes, called the other store with a clear attitude, and immediately stated that I had to go there instead. While on the phone, she referred to me as "regular staff," which was an assumption. I corrected her and stated that I am a provider. She then insisted that I had to go to the other store because it was a "group order," which I again clarified was incorrect. Eventually, she told me where to select the scrubs from and stated the other store would call her back. When I was ready to check out, she said she had not received a call. I suggested that she call them again. After doing so, she proceeded with the transaction and stated she had ordered the pink jackets as well. Due to the way I was treated, I requested that my jackets be shipped to me, as I do not wish to return to this location. I also advised her that, moving forward, it would be more appropriate to ask questions rather than make assumptions. When I asked for her name, she stated she did not have to provide it, ignored me, and proceeded to greet other customers entering the store. The receipt lists her name as Tasha. I am requesting confirmation that my jackets will be mailed to me, as I do not feel comfortable returning and do not trust the handling of my order. I will not be returning to this location.
