An order had been placed to Bailey's Medical for a walker to come on Wednesday. However, she was doing so well that she was going to be released early on Saturday instead and needed a walker. So late Friday after Bailey Medical closed, I was in a panic and called Bailey Medical emergency phone number. Message was taken and I received a call back in 30 minutes. I was assured that they would get a walker to the rehab center before she left rehab. The owner said he could order it for me and have it the next day. I told him I couldn't wait that long. Since 1995 I have never had a problem filling insulin. His advise was to go to Walmart and get over the counter insulin and use that until the next day. Worst advise ever. I should have got that in writing. If I put that inulin in my pump, I would have been in the hospital. It doesn't work for type 1 Diabetics. Terrible unethical advise. I refilled my script at another pharmacy(perkins), naturally. When I went to pick up another medication at Osceola, Kazzi(not sure if he is the owner or pharmacist or both) told me that he will no longer fill my medication. He said I was "pharmacy shopping". Is that even a thing? Is it a law you cannot use two pharmacies? No, it is not. I asked another pharmacy. They laughed. I called Osceola pharmacy back to see where I went wrong. To get an explanation. I explained that I NEEDED my insulin that day. What did he want me to do? How could I do this differently? He spoke over me the whole time I was talking. Saying, I will not fill anymore medication for you. No explanation. If you go here, get everything in writing! Ask them if they will fire you as a client for filling scripts they don't have at another pharmacy. This is just a money hungry place. No care for anyones health or needs. rude rude rude.
