He had already tried that and it was worse than our couch recliner. She suggested that renting a powerlift chair might be helpful. It was on the pricier side, but the only other idea she had. Well, we thought about over lunch and just decided to just purchase a chair. Terri showed us the options and let us just try out the chairs on our own time. We never felt rushed. It was obviously more than we originally thought of doing, but we are sure we won't regret it in the future. The only thing that didn't make us happy, and why this isn't four stars, was the price tag. We picked the chair we liked best & thought the price was what was on the tag. There were options below the big price, like heat & massage, which were things that could be added to the base. Oh, but the material that the chair used was on that list (which we didn't realize because it was not a common name). It was not in the large number on the price tag and added $900 to the price. We didn't know this until we were checking out. We do not blame Terri for this, but the company that thought this was a good idea. The tag should have had the final price, before taxes & delivery not the base price if you could buy it off of the floor like we did.

What can they do to improve is the question posed to me…read more Fire the nurse Lisa who refused to come and give my dad an enema when he was on the cusp of having a blocked bowel because she didn't want to come out at night Fire her for not coming to see my dad who had a broken tooth because "there wasn't anything she could do anyway." Get nurses who order supplies when they say they will and not "forget." Hire people that are to bathe patients who don't come in and step on patients pillows with their boots and keep on going like nothing happened. Like they didn't notice. Hire PT and OT people who get to know their patients, read their charts to know the person, talk to the family about how they want to go forward before ramming their own agenda down the patients throat. Every patient is different. I understand you have only a short amount of time to work with people but it takes some longer than others to accept their situation. You don't just blurt, " you"ll never walk again!" after 3 visits. That did more damage to my dads spirit that anything. I'd rather no one came at all. Have an answering service that isn't contracted out so they are accountable for making sure the messages get to people. The employees can say all too easily. " I didn't get the message." I heard that excuse many times from nurses and found out later that was untrue. Make the employees accountable I'm too tired to go on
