Didnt show up on my wedding day held at me and didn't give us our security deposit back.

First I would like to say all the negative reviews stating that someone was rude, is completely TRUE. While at work I had one of my associates call....no answer. Someone ended up calling her back and answered the question I wanted to know, the associate informed me and I called. First of all, whoever answered the phone only said "HELLO" as if I'm calling their personal phone and not the business phone. I asked "is this Limo World" he replied "YEA" I explained that an associate called and he rudely asked me "WHY DID SHE HANG UP ON ME" I was about to explain, we're at work and service is bad but the tone in his voice as he was speaking to me was just off and I said "YOU KNOW WHAT, I DONT LIKE YOUR ATTITUDE" and I ended the call. I will not spend my money somewhere where people have ZERO sense of customer service. read more

If I could give Limo World 6 stars I would . . . I have used Paul's company twice now, and his limo service is nothing short of spectacular! He was extremely accommodating to our transportation needs and responded to all of them so quick leading up to the events. Even when my group had to switch vehicles before the event due to group sizing, he went above and beyond to accommodate for us. The limos have been top-notch and extremely clean; they seemed practically brand new. Our drivers were also very nice and made the whole experience more fun for us! The reason I even gave this company the 2 stars is because Heather in the office as well as Rob our driver were very nice. We booked both a bus and a limo for Bachelorette and bachelor parties that occurred on the same evening. $1000 plus in trasportation. The men's vehicle had a tire fall off and they were stranded on the side of the road.. things happen.. but they were not allowed back in the vehicle to get their food or drinks and the new driver did not grab anything either. So new vehicle and an hour later.. driver was tired from working prior to this party so he didn't want to go many places in Detroit because it wasn't in the "contract" and he left 40 minutes early. The girls had a great time in there bus and the driver even offered to clean out the bus for us, in which I tipped another $50 for. We call to discuss our issues later that week when we still didn't hear from the owner and he screams, curses, blatantly defensive for no reason. WE WERE NOT asking for funds back.. more so wanted to voice our opinion about the overall customer service that evening. Unfortunately we will not be using this company ever again and will be sure to tell our friends not to risk it. If anything were to ever happen, there is no reasonable owner to discuss your problems with. read more

To say the least they were RUDE I called to tell the manager the driver could come a little late because we were running behind schedule all I was able to get out of my mouth was "hello I was calling to see if the driver left yet because" and I was screamed at "tell me the damn time he was supposed to be there so I can fuckn check it out" then I discovered that outside the driver was also yelling at my maid of honor not how I wished to be treated on my wedding day! I had an event on Belle Isle in November that I surprised my work crew and their significant others with. I called earlier in the week of the event and was very happy with both the rates and options we were given on such short notice. Paul (the owner) and the driver were very polite. The driver was on time, courteous and also had no problem making a couple quick pit stops along the way. Everyone had a lovely time and were all very pleased with the limo. Everything we needed was working properly and the vehicle was clean. I cannot speak on behalf of some of the other reviews but I do not understand and almost find it hard to believe some of the words that I have read from each one's experiences. Paul even called to follow up the next week and asked about every aspect of our experience. Not only would I recommend this company but we will be using them again next month for a friend's birthday. I do understand that things do happen that are out of people's control and it is how situations are handled that define the relationship. We did not have any negative situation that needed to be handled but we did make some route changes that were gladly accommodated. If all that happened was the owner blowing up my phone at 9:30, in the middle of my wedding, to tell me that the car we ordered had a mechanical issue, it would be one thing. Not that I believe him at all, considering the terrible reviews and comments about cars being switched, which can be found all over the internet. No, the biggest reason to never do business with this company is due to how rude and unprofessional the owner, Paul is. Of course I was upset that the car I specifically sought out for my wedding, the '52 Cadillac, was suddenly "broken down" at 9:30 at night. Paul met my disappointment and anger by completely blowing up, screaming at me, acting incredibly condescending, rude, and unprofessional. I have never been treated that way by anyone in business, much less when I am the client paying hundreds of dollars. Don't believe me? We went with this company for my fiancees 29th birthday and contracted with them for a party bus. The driver arrived a few minutes late, in a hummer. Lucky for us,a few of our guests canceled at the last minute otherwise we would not have fit in the space we were provided. As it was, we had not one open seat. I asked the driver to check on the bus. He seemed to try. After twenty minutes we decided to head to our destination. Instead of sitting in the back with my party I had to sit near the driver who had no gps so I could provide turn by turn directions. The radio needed to new turned down for half the ride. When the company called me back in response to a call of displeasure I was offered excuses and nothing more than an invite to remind them of our less than desirable experience the next time we needed transport and they would take care of us. Really?! You lost a customer in the economy that you complained about in your somewhat apologetic follow up call. Don't call these guys if your night matters to you because it doesn't matter to them! read more
