I disclosed multiple complex conditions -- including Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and MCAS -- and clearly communicated my history of medical trauma, tissue sensitivity, and claustrophobia. Despite this, I was placed in positions that triggered back spasms, pressured to undress even after I explained I had specifically worn a dress to feel less exposed, and subjected to deep abdominal and groin pressure that caused pain I did not have before the session. Most upsetting was the patronizing tone throughout the visit. I was trying to be open and compliant, but my discomfort and concerns were dismissed with smiles and offhanded comments. I left the session feeling not only physically worse, but emotionally invalidated. This may not be every patient's experience, but if you have a complex medical history or require respectful, trauma-informed care, this may not be the right fit. I will not be returning.

I had just spent four days in the…read morehospital where they did X ray's and MRI's they ran blood test's and taught me how to walk up and down stair's as if I were permanently disabled. I was eventually given prescription's for a couple of controlled substances and the nurse's wished me well as they wheeled me out of the hospital. On a follow up appointment to the spine surgeon's office I was shown my MRI. My spine looked like there was half of a round-about in the lower portion. It was surgery, controlled substances or Physical Therapy. My Internist recommended "Restore Physical Therapy". I wasn't crazy about the Idea but what did I have to lose? I had some reticence going in to my first visit but was quickly put at ease by the causal yet professionalism of the office. There was no hospital like regimen but rather an interested, caring staff. After the course of care was explained to me and I did a just a couple of the exercises I felt an easing of my pain. The following sessions and my work at home gave me the relief I was looking for. I'm am now drug free, no surgery needed and a believer in the real benefits of Physical Therapy as practiced at "Restore Physical Therapy". Its a great location ans very big, with plenty of therapists who can work with your schedule. They will write in your chart and coordinate care if you are working with another therapist. If you are a young athlete, I don't recommedn them as they do not do sport specific rehab, they are ultra conservative, and they will not push you. Overall, its a standard rehab place with nice people and a lot of schedule flexibility. The care is adequate, but not specialized
