So I got my teeth cleaning done. The suggested their electric toothbrush and their mouthwash that is claimed to be better for you than retail mouthwashes. I took the mouthwash and was billed. My husband was later evaluated as well (keep in mind we just came here to get basic care). They suggested the mouthwash to him and the electric toothbrush. He turned down both especially since I had mouthwash at home but they sent him home with it anyways and billed us for two. Before he even got his cleaning done, they suggested a whole list of things he needed done and exaggerated the state of his oral health. The quote they gave him came out to $2,450 out of pocket AFTER insurance covered what they could. So we got a second opinion at another dentist office just to find out that my husband didn't need anything more than a cleaning AND it was covered by our insurance. Weird that my teeth cleaning, I still had a fee to pay. The receptionist can be unfriendly over the phone. One the of dental hygienists cleans your teeth so harshly. I get that dentist offices are a business too but it shouldn't be that much of one that it compromises the integrity.

I end up getting the filing done, and GUESS WHAT? I'm paying over 100 dollars for both. My wife, who asks a lot of questions, looked more into it. I think called Cigna, who said this office isn't in network, when on their website they are, lol. I called Jeff Commons, they claim to be in network, but the woman I spoke to told me Cigna downgraded the coverage for Composite, and would only pay for Amalgam. I then find out the Dr.Deborah Rodighiero ISN'T EVEN IN NETWORK! Now, I'm stuck with an addition 200 plus dollar bill on top of the over 100 I paid for. This is unacceptable. The staff offered to schedule a cleaning for the following day, but I was unable to attend because I already had an OB appointment. After examining the tooth, they scheduled me for a filling the next day rather than completing the treatment during my current appointment. I'm still unclear why I was asked to come in that day if no treatment was going to be provided. As a result, I had to arrange childcare for my son and make time for another appointment. To make matters more frustrating, after the appointment I was informed that they would not perform a cleaning until after I deliver my baby because they require dental X-rays. However, X-rays were taken during this visit, and records could also be obtained from my previous dentist if needed. The reasoning seemed inconsistent and was not explained clearly. The worst part of the experience happened when I arrived for my filling appointment the following day. I was told the appointment had been canceled because staff claimed I had "stormed out" and slammed the door while saying I did not want any appointments scheduled. That is completely untrue. I declined scheduling a future cleaning, not the filling appointment that had already been scheduled. I was never contacted about any cancellation, despite receiving a text confirmation for the appointment. What makes this even more confusing is that the office's front door is designed in a way that makes it virtually impossible to slam. Being accused of behavior that did not occur and then discovering my appointment had been canceled without any notice was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. Overall, the communication was poor, the scheduling process was disorganized, and I felt that my time was not respected. Between the unnecessary extra appointments, the conflicting explanations, the canceled filling appointment, and the inaccurate accusations, this was one of the most disappointing experiences I have had with a dental office.
