If you visit, expect to be overwhelmed by the cost of the treatment plan they prepare for you. The…read morefront staff will be pushy about signing the plan (to prove you acknowledge it) and try to get you to book an appointment for the work that needs to start on this very lengthy list. When you simply want a cleaning, you'll be talked into purchasing all the things your insurance won't cover - like a $30 bottle of Essential Smiles mouthwash (which, by the way, isn't even approved by the FDA) and $20 flouride toothpaste. Then, another dentist will most likely give you a once over and discover yet another tooth that needs a crown. Not really acknowledging you're in the chair - but instructing the hygienist to add it to your treatment plan. Before you know it, the hygienist will brush some stuff over parts of your receding teeth (that are NOT sensitive by way). Upon checkout you'll be surprised to learn that's another $20 treatment not covered by insurance. I had a new patient appointment and two cleanings there last year. After three visits I'll be looking for care elsewhere. I have absolutely no trust in this practice.

My visits were always made easier by their kindness, patience, and gentleness. Luckily at the time, I was working and had good insurance, so no worries. At one point, I found myself without dental coverage and used their practice financial program. The price was reasonable for two cleanings/year and discounted interventions. Well this year I was able to purchase insurance off the marketplace and was assured verbally and online that Denzinger took the insurance. However, when I tried to use it I was told "we haven't taken that insurance in six months". Ok well someone screwed up, nothing I could do as I was told repeatedly by the receptionist and office manager. (And it "wasn't their fault") I asked what the cash pay price would be and was told "since you have periodontal disease" it would be $175.00 for a cleaning. The problem being I have NEVER been told I have periodontal disease. I've always been congratulated on the good condition of my teeth and gums. The point of this review is a dental practice can have outstanding hygienists and doctors however it's still run by the business office! So if you have good dental insurance or a pocket full of cash you're just the patient they want. Longevity and dedication do not matter. I would have purchased their practice financial plan but that went up by $300.00. Just too much about money and not enough about caring.

The staff offered to schedule a cleaning for the following day, but I was unable to attend because I already had an OB appointment. After examining the tooth, they scheduled me for a filling the next day rather than completing the treatment during my current appointment. I'm still unclear why I was asked to come in that day if no treatment was going to be provided. As a result, I had to arrange childcare for my son and make time for another appointment. To make matters more frustrating, after the appointment I was informed that they would not perform a cleaning until after I deliver my baby because they require dental X-rays. However, X-rays were taken during this visit, and records could also be obtained from my previous dentist if needed. The reasoning seemed inconsistent and was not explained clearly. The worst part of the experience happened when I arrived for my filling appointment the following day. I was told the appointment had been canceled because staff claimed I had "stormed out" and slammed the door while saying I did not want any appointments scheduled. That is completely untrue. I declined scheduling a future cleaning, not the filling appointment that had already been scheduled. I was never contacted about any cancellation, despite receiving a text confirmation for the appointment. What makes this even more confusing is that the office's front door is designed in a way that makes it virtually impossible to slam. Being accused of behavior that did not occur and then discovering my appointment had been canceled without any notice was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional. Overall, the communication was poor, the scheduling process was disorganized, and I felt that my time was not respected. Between the unnecessary extra appointments, the conflicting explanations, the canceled filling appointment, and the inaccurate accusations, this was one of the most disappointing experiences I have had with a dental office. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this practice based on the service I received. If I could I would leave 0 stars.

The staff is friendly, but also a bit clunky, inattentive, and sometimes dismissive. My first set of fillings were done by someone who has no business doing fillings--she kept bumping into me and everything else and she left composite between the teeth that caused severe pain for months after. On another visit I told Dr. Low that the root of my tooth was sore and weak, but he just wanted to put an $800 crown over it and call it a day. I was in and out in less than an hour with a clean smile, new toothbrush and appointment for my next cleaning.
