We have Anderson windows but they were installed when the house was built in 1987. Some were ok, some needed some work and some needed to be replaced. Seals, caulking, rebuild a sliding glass doors, all new interior handles and 3 windows were too far gone so they were replaced with new construction windows. The good stuff: They are an Anderson window distributor and installer. They know these windows and know how to work on them. And they are a very friendly group to work with. They did excellent work and the windows and sliding glass doors all work like new. The not-so-good. They don't communicate at all. I had to call and call to get any information, even if they planned to show up to work! In spite of the communication issue, I'd certainly use them to work on any Anderson windows.

The best part is that after they do the job the first time, they provide a follow up service the next year (as part of the original cost) to come back and address any re-occuring plants. Quite prompt service originally, and the follow ups have been quite responsive as well. I don't know how these guys do it! In the past when I have tried to do this I wore full body protective gear and still wound up with rashes. Chris and his guys just wear pants, sweatshirts, and some gloves. They are great at what they do, just cannot begin to understand why :) I will use these guys any time the poison ivy comes back.

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY…read more I scheduled a service call weeks in advance and was told that I would receive a call 30 minutes prior to the technician's arrival. That did not happen and I only had 10 minutes to leave work and get home to meet the company's representative "Vince". It turned out that the overhead garage door opener could not be repaired and no parts were installed. I was presented with a bill that was outrageous. A service call plus labour!!! I was told on site that this company adds a surcharge of 4% if you pay with a credit card. No one told me this or I would have brought my check book. This company does business in a very unethical manner and lost out on a job to replace the doors, hardware and everything else on our 4-car garage plus a 6-car out building. Please continue these deceptive practices so that customers go elsewhere.
