Tori and Chris did an outstanding job repairing my driveway and sidewalk. Both guys are top shelf,…read morepersonable, hard-working, perfectionists. They don't settle for "good enough." They explained what they would do, how they would do it, how the product works, and cleaned up leaving the place looking better than when they arrived. The finished product was outstanding. I couldn't be more impressed. Great job!

During a remodel, we discovered the wood flooring beneath vinyl plank flooring (yes, someone…read moreinstalled new flooring on top of old flooring) had water damage and black mold on it. There were cracks in the foundation that ran from one exterior wall to another exterior wall presumably allowing moisture to enter the house from below the foundation damaging the flooring. I Googled and found Alpha Foundations. The company had a lot of great reviews. After meeting with the salesperson, we contracted with the company to void fill by injecting expandable polyfoam under the foundation to stabilize our front room, kitchen, and living room. They were able to schedule the repair within 3 weeks. The Foreman Joshua Woodfork called the evening before to let me know his estimated time of arrival the next morning. He showed up on time, explained what he was going to do and got started right away. He took pictures as he made the repair and texted them to me afterward. He injected areas as planned and used his level to make sure it stabilized / compacted with the dirt. He went around every room and the level changed 0.1 (10th of an inch) to ensure stabilization. He drilled the injection holes 3-4 feet apart covering the entire section on contract. The repair came with a 5 year warranty with annual inspections. The company keeps a record of what was recommended and what was done for annual inspections. I highly recommend Josh and Alpha Foundations!

Short Version - Stay away from Premier Outdoor Living. They do not manage the project, they just…read morehire the subcontractors and send them out to do the work with no supervision. We've had issues with every step of our project, and Premier points the finger at either us, the homeowner or the subcontractor without accepting any responsibility or coming out to supervise. Bottom line - they take your money, but they don't manage the job. Our salesperson said our project would take about 3 weeks once the permits were obtained and they broke ground. They began work on November 26th, 2018. We just issued final payment on April 8, 2019 if that gives you any indication of the frustration and poor project management we've endured. Want more details on how a 3 week job turns into a 19 week (over 4 months!) job? Here you go: While large in scale, the project is essentially simple - construct a new patio, add a roof and birdcage, run electric to the hot tub, add two fans and an outlet along an exterior wall. We pointed out to the salesman, Rich, where we wanted the outlet to be, where the patio, roof, and screen would come to, exactly where the hot tub placement would be, and the two fans would (obviously) be centered across the span of the roof. * Birdcage structure had two work orders put in - one for bronze birdcage and one for white support poles. * Premier salesperson forgot the hot tub (even though we showed him exactly where we wanted it and showed him the dimensions) causing issues with the electric, paver installation, and fans/lighting * Premier didn't look up electrical code until 60 days into project (too late to fix issues) o Their remedy for their negligence was to close the permit and come back after the fact and install the second fan illegally (this solution was offered by both the Project Manager and the Salesperson). We declined as we are paying for a professional company, not someone trying to circumvent code. * Pavers installed incorrectly (see Artistic Pavers review for details) * Screen enclosure - dripping rusty water on pavers, interior grade hinges installed, and sagging in the middle; we have requested this contactor not come back to our job site. More details can be provided, but not with word limits of this review. Long story short - if you've always wanted to pay a company a lot of excess money to take your checks, but not manage the project or the subcontractors, then hire Premier Outdoor Living. Make sure you have a lot of extra vacation time so you can come home to tell the subcontractors what needs done, and be sure to read up on code so you make sure the project can be completed legally. I highly suggest you take your business elsewhere. Working with Premier has been a terrible, very expensive experience; we would have been much better off hiring our own subcontractors since we were essentially onsite project managers for this whole project.
