When it comes to eyebrows, I'm super picky and nervous about who could help me. I had one horrible…read moreexperience a long time ago by going to a random stall in the mall, and then never left the one brow tech I had, but since she quit, I haven't gotten my brows done in over a year. I finally worked up the courage to step into Raj's salon based on the reviews I read. I waited for Raj to finish her client, I asked for a simple clean up and let her know my left brow is always raised higher than my right one, hoping she can find a way to keep them even. She was so fast, quick and painless, and made my brows look more balanced. I will definitely be coming back. She reassured me that everyone in the salon can do similar work but given my level of anxiety around this I probably wouldn't pick anyone else except her!

I've been here about 4 times and I've had no complaints but today was different. I called in to…read morebook an appointment and I was so sad leaving my appointment that I cried. Being that this was my 4th time I thought Renu knew how I liked my eyebrows, just cleaned up but today she chose to thin out my eyebrows and now they are 2 different shapes. After telling her I didn't like them she kept telling me I had no hair in the beginning of my brows that's why she had to follow that but I told her I had hair there. I told her I did not like my brows and she kept telling me to use castor oil. So now I'm having to use another product to help them grow out again ? After I've been growing out my eyebrows already ? I'm so disappointed in my service and I just hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

For threading brows, waxed upper lip, and underarms I pay $24 before tip which would easily be $50+ at another facility. Pari is kind, warm, and efficient which I appreciate greatly as I don't have to make an appt and have at most waited 10 minutes. The business accepts cash and card/Apple Pay which is a plus. It is a great small business in Newark I love to support to get my monthly maintenance done. I highly recommend if you want a quick service, it is not a spa or boujee place it does the job and for the price you're paying that's all you can ask for. I actually enjoy going here since I know Pari will be the only one cleaning my brows which she has been for the past 4-5 years now with her previous employer.

Long overdue review but Sapphire Beauty Lounge has easily become my go-to for gelx since Jan 2024…read more I come here about once a month and always leave feeling more than satisfied with my nails. I usually go to Kate or Nikki, but I've also had my nails done by Betty and Amy as well. You can tell that everyone here is very thorough and don't rush and my sets last for a long time and personally, I've never experienced any nails breaking or have been dissatisfied with the service or results. I also love that I don't feel pressured for a certain service or style like I have at other salons and they've even recommended certain colors or add-ons to enhance the vision I'm going for - whether it be a slightly different color to prevent fading or a color that might pop better against my skin. I'm not usually a design girly but here I feel like I can trust Kate and Nikki to try something different that maybe I don't have a specific vision for. I'm not one for super long nails either but the short almond suits my nail beds really well and because of how the staff does my nails, I feel like it isn't bothersome until I need to get a new set. The aesthetic of the salon is super clean and bright, making it feel relaxing and luxurious at the same time. I also feel like the price is pretty reasonable compared to what I've heard other salons charging. Since I started going here I have not regretted it and definitely recommend.
