I took my mother for her eyebrows and was relatively happy. I then bought the lip tat for my mother and she had a very very bad reaction. I called Janet and it took her a while to get back to me. I called her a second time to see if her reaction was normal. Her lips blew up freakishly, about 5 times their normal size. Janet said that was normal and to just ice it. She never asked to see her or anything. About 2 days later, my mother got blisters. I think it was because her lips swelled and burst. I called Janet before our follow up to cancel. I told her that my mother had the blisters for a while and she said that my mother had herpes and that the tat had brought the herpes out. I asked her for a refund of some sort since we were canceling because of her reaction and Janet said no. She was very snarky and said that my mother needs herpes medication. I think 1) Janet should have been clear about the potential for blisters if someone has the herpes complex (cold sores). Although I think the blister developed because her lips burst. She doesn't get cold sores; didn't before and hasn't since. 2) since we could not do the second part of the service, Janet should have refunded half our payment. It was only fair and I feel like she got to keep all the money for half the work on top of the fact that my poor mother suffered tremendously during 3 weeks. read more

I am so happy with my eyebrow micro blading. Janet took so much time helping me to pick the color that was right for my eye color, hair color and skin color. Very very minimal discomfort due to the numbing agent used. I wish I had done this years ago after struggling to try and use eye brow pencil, powders and gels with a magnifying mirror. Janet is an amazing artist. She redid my eyebrows which were not done well at another salon. The color and shape are just perfect. On my next visit, I had my upper eyeliner done. I was so nervous about it, but I felt absolutely no pain at all, and I just love the liner. It is absolutely perfect. Janet is a perfectionist and her works shows it. I LOVED Janet's work on my eyebrows and eyeliner!! A few years ago I went to E.P. to get my eyebrows and eyeliner done and I thought she would be the best in town due to her website reviews and high end prices, but I was willing to pay those prices if she was the best and working on my face. It turns out that was a $1200 waste of money! My eyebrows were crooked, she didn't want to give me the dramatic look because she preferred the natural look and it all faded drastically within under a year! I still had to apply make up because her permanent make up was essentially non existent!! Since I am a special education teacher and my make up wears off throughput the day, I thought I'd take a chance and try permanent make up one more time but this time with Janet, at Lily's Aesthetics, because my hairstylist went to her and her brows looked good and lasted!
