There aren't many good alternative clothing stores in florida and subculture was one of them. Supply is small but demand is plenty, how is business bad? I mean in 7 months i would have assumed subculture would have moved locations, not temporarily closed. Go to ravens and rockers in Lake Magdalene instead, more options and even a thrift section. I'm usually a medium, however once in awhile I can fit an XS. The quality is really good. I like how most of the fabric is usually really soft and prices are reasonable. I've had a t-shirt that I bought years ago and wear it often. There is normal wear to the graphic but no holes. Join Club Hollister for points that can be earned towards reward certificate and members only offers. I do quite a bit of online shopping and having the option to return at the store makes it super convenient. The minimum for free shipping is usually $50, but once in awhile there are deals for free shipping for any orders. If you do shop online, shop through ebates and earn a min of 1.5% cashback. I've been to this location several times and found the staff to be friendly and helpful.

I came on a Sunday before noon which I found to be the best time to shop before the crowd.

I understand the policy that the owners would rather help the customer in trying on the formal gowns because some of them are quite difficult and challenging to put on. My daughter tried a few gowns. The owner was not pushy at all, and in fact, she is so sweet and understanding of what a customer wants. I just don't understand some of the bad reviews here because the owner just struck me as the nicest and one of the most patient salesperson I've dealt with. She was very helpful and supportive to my teenage daughter. We didn't feel rushed. By the way, we also went to the gowns store across the hallway which was a complete opposite of Clelia's (that store across the hallway was so pushy and we felt rushed). Would definitely get our formal dresses thru Clelias from now on. Just very good customer service and the dresses/gowns are also beautiful and reasonably priced.

I found a beautiful dress within budget, that even if it was too large/too small i would make alterations at home. I walked up to one of the sales associates who didn't even bother to say anything to me when i walked up and asked to try to dress on. She proceeds to lead me to the dressing room when another woman basically stops me and asks what the size of the dress is, i tell her "10 i think!" (it was actually a size 12 the tag was marked wrong) This woman. Then proceeds to look me up and down and goes "it'll be too small but i guess you can still try it on" Immediately i knew i wouldn't be purchasing anything from them, but i tried the dress on anyways to see if i liked the style and cut so i could purchase it somewhere else. Which i did! it was an amazing dress i'll just find the same one elsewhere for sure. But as im walking out from trying it on, the lady walks up and goes " awe didn't fit huh?" never in my life have i been treated this way at a store. I am not plus sized im a medium/large in most stores, but clearly that is considered plus size to them. I highly recommend NOT going to this store. The customer service is awful. But I have to say, they put out such good clothing options that I usually only shop the sales area since it doesn't take long for some of the newer stuff to hit the sales racks. I've purchased four or five shirts here by looking for deals. I wear them all the time. But I also give a ton of credit to sales team here. Todd, Tara, and Macy are three of the best clothing sales reps out there. They look out for the customers, help us find deals, and keep the store exceptionally clean. I will say their prices are similar to Vineyard Vines not far down the street from Southern Tide. But again, ask the staff where the sales area is located and that is a good place to start. But don't hesitate to get a new item if that's what you prefer! It seems they get new clothing to sell here frequently. Our active duty and retired military members will also be happy to hear that this store offers 20 percent discounts on all clothing, to include sales items too. It's great incentive to shop here! This is one of my three favorite stores at Town Center right now! I think it's a great option for people who are looking for deals or just looking for some excellent clothing. Come on by! So many pockets, so comfy, stretchy, flattering and fun! Bras, underwear, pajamas- all fabulously fun prints and super comfy/cooling! I also LOVE the sweaters from the winter season- I bought a couple of them and I have several jackets. Quality products across the board. I will mention- they just redesigned the shorts overalls and the material is slightly different and they messed with the pockets- I hope they listen to their customer base and give back the original pockets and material, but they are still super cute! Overalls tend to run big, but the new design of short overalls are true to size.** Important info I went to a pottery convention earlier this year and Duluth Trading Co overalls were everywhere! I had forgotten about it until they popped up as an ad on my IG and I hadn't even thought about new overalls in months! But they had a great Mother's Day sale going and as a new customer- I got extra off. I ordered online and John mentioned he thought there was one up at River City Marketplace. Today (Mother's Day) we were headed to the National Cemetery to visit mom and stopped into the store and I snagged a couple pairs of overall shorts. I tried them on and found out that I am a smaller size than what I ordered online! Great problem to have- but when they come in the mail I can exchange them at the store. I got the same deal as online because I signed up for their text message program and got an additional 20% off on top of the sale prices- woohoo. And John and I both enjoyed the store as a whole. We were offered assistance numerous time by various staff and one associate made sure I knew about the text savings. Our location here in Jacksonville is the only location in Florida too! Based out of the midwest, they have a location map located at the back of the store. John even read a bit of their company history and compared it to the tv show Outdoor Man with Tim Allen.
