Now that it's moved into the All Saints Centre it's much more visible and easy to spot. Inside you'll find sone very helpful people who can give you all sorts of information about childcare, stay and play places, loads of events involving babies and toddlers and everything related to provision for under 5's you could possibly think of. It's a good place to go o if ou're new to the area, new to being a parent or just looking to find out more information about what's out there.

It's a really safe place for young children with a large soft play area with soft slides and climbing frames. There's also a small separate bit at the end of the main soft play where younger, smaller or less confident children can play on a smaller scale soft play area. They have some outdoor activity but that is only open during good weather. It's is just over £2 for an hour and a half and is open day times until 4pm. The price is per child. Refreshments are available at a reasonable price although there is only a fairly small selection. They serve hot drinks, cold drinks and cold snacks. You have to give the name of each child as you go in and out. There is only one way out so you know your kids are safe because you can see them. However, there are still a range of drop-in sessions and other activities to be invited along to, so if this is your local centre it is well worth stopping by to find out what you can get involved with. A couple of times a year the Children's Centres also arrange big events, such as a bus trip to Weston Super Mare last summer. This centre has only two main rooms and it feels like it has fewer toys available, but the staff are very very friendly and welcoming, so it is still a great place to go

This is a fantastic little place for all ages. The park itself is free to get in with free car…read moreparking. The children's farm makes a small charge for entry. There are is a good variety of small independent shops including Arty Parties where, for a small charge, kids (and adults!) can paint pottery. The children's farm has goats, chickens, cows, horses, deer, peacocks, geese and a pig and there is also a building which houses baby chicks, rabbits, quail and guinea pigs. Some of these animals are often for sale. There is also a nice cafe. Lovely cup of tea! I had a nice meal with my partner. There was a little problem with our order but I'd like to think that was just a one off as otherwise, the service and food was good. We even got a complimentary drink because of the confusion. The food, however, is a little expensive but you do get a lot for the money. I would certainly recommend this as a family day out. Even if you don't want to go around the farm, there is a good play area suitable for most ages although it's probably best to go when it's not raining!

Food and drinks are available at very reasonable prices and of good quality. Superb place to let the kids unwind and let off steam whilst you can relax, have a coffee and read a paper. My partner trained and worked as a nursery nurse for many years before a change of career so she knew what to look out for when looking around for a nursery. The first thing that strikes you is the amount of outside space the children have, They have a lovely big garden and lots of play equipment. Inside the nursery is always clean, and there always seem to be lots of activites the children are doing, All of the staff are absolutely excellent, they are always doing lots of things with the children and they try and get the kids outside to play whenever possible, Our son loves it, he doesn't want to come home some days! Its not exactly the cheapest nursery around and you do have to pay when the nursery is closed, i.e. bank holidays if your child is due to go, But you can't put a price on peace of mind and we are more than happy with all elements of the place! The soft play area for the toddlers is brilliant as it is spacious and you can see them from anywhere you stand/sit in the cafe area. There is a ball pit and 2 little toddler slides. There is also a much bigger softplay area for the over 5's and a football enclosure. I don't rate the food as it is mainly junk...everything in breadcrumbs and chips and the fruit selection is always very scarce. It would be nice to see yoghurts or 100% fish/chicken goujons or a nice childs bolognase. The moms coffee morning on a Tuesday 10.30am during term time is great as there is free entry, it does get very busy though. One big bonus is free parking all day at the fort and the location is close to the many other retail shops the fort has to offer.
