Mediocre, at best. Girlfriend and I had a meatball sub, Philly cheese steak, house salad, and mozzarella sticks. Subs were disappointing and light on internals, mozzarella sticks were way over coated, salad was shredded iceburg lettuce, pepperocini, and tomato coated in a dressing of sadness. read more

I live locally and have eaten here before. Not a lot but many multiple times over the last several years. I have always thought the food was overpriced for the size and quality but it wasn't bad. That said the vast majority of the meals I got there were cold subs, pretty hard to screw up a cold sandwich. Unfortunately last night I got a burger. When I got it home with the chicken tenders for my sick wife and unwrapped my burger.......I couldn't believe what I saw. The menu claims it is a 5 ounce burger and it was paper thin so I have serious doubts about that claim. My burger was a paper thin, burnt black, dry piece of leather that appeared it could have been made two days prior. And to be honest I'm not sure it wasn't. It was horrible. Needless to say I won't go back. There are a lot of better choices around. It will be a little longer drive but will be worth it. How did my wife like the chicken tenders? "They are fine". Still won't be going back. No wonder the chairs were up on the tables at 6:30 when they are supposed to be open until 9. So sad. read more

I pulled into the drive thru at 7:58 and the employee came onto the mic and said that they were currently closed for the evening. I asked what time they close and they said 8. I wasn't going to make a big fuss over 2 minutes. I was trying to get food before they closed but I guess they close before 8 obviously. Second of all, the website says they close at 9 so I didn't think I had to speed to get there 10 minutes before 8 to get some food. I made it before 8 anyways and they still wouldn't serve me. This is now the second time they would not serve me through the drive thru. The first time was at 7:53 and they said they had already closed down everything and could not serve me. This is unacceptable. Change your hours on your website so there isn't any confusion and second of all, serve your CUSTOMERS up until you close. If I had pulled in at 8 then ok, I understand you're closed. If I pull in at 7:55, I expect to be able to get some of delicious food. The food is great here which is why I'm giving 2 stars, but this truly unacceptable in my opinion. I have worked in many cafes, restaurants, etc. and we never turn people away until we are CLOSED. read more

I love the pizza here! It's my favorite place for sliced pizza! The subs are pretty good, too! I love the waffle cut fries, as well. The majority of the staff is very friendly and helpful, but there is one that isn't. Pretty rude. But the food makes up for that one person! read more

I have been going to eat at this Lil Dino's for many years. My last visit several days ago will be my last visit. I ordered an 8" philly cheese steak combo with fries and a drink. It was almost $12. I expect a lot of food for that kinda money. I sat down and looked at my sandwich and didn't see the peppers and onions that I ordered. Well, they were there but they were tiny pieces underneath the meat and cheese. I could not believe the tiny amount of meat that was on this cheese steak sandwich. So I went up to the counter and politely told them that I wanted more meat especially since I had paid almost $12. The woman got huffy with me and I overheard her approach the owner and say, "this guy wants more meat on his sandwich. Can you deal with him?" His response was simple and the correct one, "just give him more meat." I just don't want to have to fight anyone for the appropriate amount of food for the money. NY Deli across the street is almost as expensive but they give you way more food for the money. read more

The tables are dirty and sticky. There are no condiments. There is trash on the floors. The Pizza is big and tastes good. Staff was somewhat friendly. Didn't feel that welcomed eating here. Made sure to clean our table at the end because I knew the staff wouldn't. Would only recommend eating here if you went through the drive through or if you were going to get to go. read more

Very good pizza but, honestly, haven't tried any others in the area yet as we've just moved here. Very good crust and the cheese is good quality as is the sauce. They currently have a great deal on Tuesday's; 2 for 1 on 12" and 18" pizzas. Cannot beat that. read more

Never write reviews but was compelled to do so since our experience has been different than other reviews. We've frequented this restaurant via drive thru at least a dozen times. The food is very good. Always piping hot. Fries and onion rings crispy. Subs, yummy! We usually call ahead and pick since its made fresh, drive thru can understandably take a little longer. But on to the big difference in our experience is the customer service. It has been nothing short of excellent every time. Always courteous and helpful on the phone and in person. Very friendly. Today my infant was crying hysterically in the back so after coming to the window I pulled in to a parking space. Without being asked the guy recognized what was going on and walked our food out to us at the car. Super helpful!! Great food. Great service!!! And high sanitation score! Just go already! read more

Never really had a bad experience at Dino's. Close to home and work, so I eat here often. Only complaint I have is the price. A sandwich alone always costs over $8. Then drink and chips puts you well over $10. It's not awful, but it adds up! GREAT food though. They also do daily lunch specials if you are a big pizza fan. read more

i had not been to the li'l dinos in olmstead village in about 5 years due to the manager at that time being very rude to me and my wife just because we asked if we could get a sub as a wrap instead having all that bread. they were selling wraps at the time, but the manager rudely and adamantly stated the 3 different wraps they offered, and didn't even consider our request. i did not know that she was the manager until i asked to speak to the manager, hence the reason i haven't returned there to give them any of my money since then. recently, i received a li'l dinos coupon on the back of my harris teeter receipt for $3 off an 18" pizza. this was the first time i had heard of this place selling pizza, so i checked the website, http://www.lildinos-pinehurst.com/menu.html, to see how much an 18" pizza would be. they didn't have any prices, so i called. the person answering the call and the manager that picked up later after i was put on hold were very rude, and they couldn't give me a total price for my order until i actually placed the order. i wanted to know the total price before i decided to place the order, but they told me they were too busy. all i knew was that it was going to be over $20. if i had actiually placed the order i certainly hope it would have been the best damned ny style pizza i ever had since it costs so much. i may have been willing to try it if i knew the total price with my $3 off coupon. this place id dead to me again. sorry, you had your chance to make ammends, but with such poor customer service you will eventually go out of business. you're welcome for this free advertisement!!!! read more
