As everyone else mentioned, this system sucks. I have constant problems with line going dead or plain no connection. I have been down more than up in the last 90 days. If this system is not the worst, it is close to it. If you're thinking about STOP go somewhere else. They tie you up in a three-year contract, but they give you crappy service. In the 3 1/2 months we have had it we have no less than 15 service tickets and as I'm writing this I'm out. They made all kinds of promises to get me on board, but none kept. This is one of the worst phone service companies I have ever used (out of the 5 I've used in my career). Your calls will get dropped and your voice will crackle. Lightspeed will tell you it is your Internet provider first. Then when you switch to your mobile Internet provider and still have the same issues, they blame your mobile provider. All the while, your coworkers (with different Internet and mobile providers) have the same issues that you do. Do not use this company at all. read more

I would recommend staying away from lightspeed voice at all costs. They lock you into a three year contract and then auto renew the contract every three years with a very small window to opt out. If you don't opt out during that small window and try to cancel they will assess a charge for the duration of the contract. I left them for Nextiva. I saved $60 a month and have more features. read more

I would suggest staying away from Lightspeed Voice. We wanted to give them a try, and didn't realize they would be locking us into a 3 year contract. when i expressed that we would not be continuing with them after only a couple of months, they informed me that we are locked in with them for 3 years. Since I switched to Lightspeed for my business in September of 2022 I have had nothing but issues. Their lines are unreliable causing my customer service ratings to drop. Also my VA was not able to use the system due to technical issues that we never resolved. The last month before I was finally able to port my line all of the lines were down. I was only able to retrieve voicemails. After I ported my main line. Mind you I did not cancel my account they went ahead and charged my account 2000.00. Without my permission. When I asked about that their response was that I still owed 2900.00 more to cancel my contract. Do not sign up with them! read more

I very rarely leave a negative review, but Lightspeed Voice has been very dishonest in the capabilities and guarantees. We switched from RingCentral due to their integration with several of our systems and quickly realized they did not have a real integration with our CRM. We were also given false timelines of the availablity of a mobile app and timelines of functional texting. When we went to cancel our contract we were told they refused to cancel and we would have to pay for 3 years of service. When signing up we were told they have an ironclad guarantee that if we were not happy we could switch at no cost. That turned out to be a lie. 3 major things to consider before switching: 1) They have no mobile app and the ones they reccommend may not be very functional. 2) The texting features are extremely lacking 3) They sales team makes many promises that are not true. They have really great customer service until you tell them you are leaving. Then they take 3 weeks to respond and refuse to work with you. They hold you phone number hostage. This is a highly punitive and possibly unethical carrier. I called to confirm there would be no charges if I changed companies after 6 years of being a loyal and upstanding customer. They said no. I then proceeded to make the change and they swept my account for $2500! I am still awaiting g the call from them to explain this. I was very unhappy with this company. I signed a three year agreement and it is very expensive to get out of. I asked several times and they said they had to email a form for me to sign. Never did. I finally had to close my business account to stop payments. Allstate agents beware! They were another company I found through Allstate that was huge cost and very little value. read more
