Just bought a light here from Raul. I included a picture of it. The entire process from start to finish could not have been easier. He showed me options for what I described as wanting, I considered the price of what I ended up choosing reasonable, I was given a bunch of bulb and color options, the purchase took a few minutes at most and they're going to call me as soon as it's ready. If anything comes up with that part I'll come and update my review but I doubt there will be issues. The reviewer "Dave B" who suggested go here to browse and then find the same thing online obviously has no concept of how business works and hopefully no one would follow such idiotic advice. It costs a lot to lease a building along a prominent highway, to advertise to the local market and to inventory merchandise that does not likely move all that quickly. Of course it costs more to purchase locally compared to a drop shipping internet site that does nothing other than place the order with the manufacturer on your behalf. People like that are what drives local businesses out of business, and then you'll have nothing to go look at and will be left wondering if the picture you see on the web is an accurate representation of what you're buying. I prefer to see lots of options in person so I know exactly what an item looks like, and if I have to pay a small premium for that privilege, I'm happy to.

While visiting from California, I went in the store with my friend that is a designer. My friend told me that Lights and More is her favorite store and the customer service makes them stand above the competition. I agree. When I went in the store, I sow and fell in love with a lamp that I had to have.. I had a very positive experience. The sales lady was very knowledgable, friendly and super helpful. She was able to ship my lamp across the country for less than what it costs to buy the same thing in Los Angeles. If you are looking for a large selection of good products, with great pricing and exemplary customer support, this is the place to shop. I highly reccomend Lights and More.

Raul was very helpful and each employee in the store said hello and smiled while they worked.

It was a great find, and I knew it would get picked up immediately, so I wanted to make sure that they held them for me while I shopped around as they were too big to fit in a cart. I urged the associate to do more than just place a sticky note on it that says "CSS" (customer still shopping) and at minimum take my name if she's unwilling to place behind the 2 ottomans behind the counter like I had requested. She assured me not to worry, and that both will be available to purchase when I go to checkout. Well guess what?! They ended up selling both of the ottomans I had put on hold while I was shopping! The associate didn't even apologize and the manager wasn't willing to lift a finger to make it better. I was so upset I ended up cancelling my transaction for the other items I had shopped for and left. Do NOT trust these associates to actually hold your items, even when you urge them to take more info/action. The least that should've been done was offering a discount on the other products I was planning to purchase (I even asked the manager, and she said "no" and was equally as unapologetic as the associate who was supposed to hold my items). Purely infuriating & dissappointing, will be avoiding returning to this store at all costs.

It is definitely a large size store and they utilize the space well. They carry electronics, home goods, housewares, kitchen items, outdoor items, furniture, mattresses, gardening items, toiletries, clothing, electronics, and pantry items. The deals are pretty good, and sometimes they have things on clearance (watch for food items, since the dates are either close to the sell by dates or even past the sell by dates). I mean, I wasn't really in the market for specific items, but we found a meat probe for a good price, and actually some snacks too. It's too bad that I didn't live closer because they had patio furniture for sale at this one, and it would've definitely been worth the drive! The food aisles were plentiful (not like a different location that was mostly slim pickings). They do change out their inventory regularly, since this is a close out type of store. It was pretty clean and organized too! And from what I saw, service was pretty top notch--a few of us were looking for advertised deals and the staff (register people) hopped off and assisted with all of our questions and walked us over to the areas we needed to go to. If I'm ever in the area again, I plan to make a special trip out to this store!

Environment I really love the store it is very bright and organized. There is a lot of items there just like how it is in Japan. Standouts from my trip: * The snack selection: Shrimp chips, sodas, unique ramen, and even Jack Links Flamin' Hot! * The conversion chart made it super easy to understand pricing...no surprises there, although some reviewers stated they had difficulty. * Store was clean, bright, and organized, which made browsing actually enjoyable... **PET PEEVE: An unorganized, out of order store** I can already see this becoming my "lemme run in real quick" spot that turns into a 45-minute haul, when I'm on that side of town... a little out the way, but hey‍. I went in expecting something a little more elevated, maybe even a little more unique, something that justified all that visual hype. Instead, the second I walked in, I had instant déjà vu. It felt like I had just walked into Pottery Barn and West Elm at the same time. Same look, same layout, same safe choices. You could swap the store signs and I genuinely don't think anyone would notice. After a few minutes, it stops feeling like browsing and starts feeling like you're looping the same store over and over again. It is still nice to walk through, I will give it that, but this is your reminder not to believe everything you see online. A lot of this feels like basic furniture dressed up to look amazing, different, and higher end when it really is not.
