We used to shop up the road at River Valley market (formerly Hobson's Choice), and now almost exclusively buy our produce at Blue Mountain. Produce is fresh, prices are reasonable, service is friendly. Selection of non-produce items is OK but limited, we go to River Valley or Shaw's for these. For produce, however, this is it. Part of the charm of Vermont in the summer is the fresh produce. You can't even compare what passes for "fresh" in a city store to what is sold at places like Blue Mountain. For yellow summer squash, as one small example, there is no comparison: here it's crisp and flavorful, almost like a different food from what is sold at home. Having the fresh vegetables is part of the charm of being in Vermont. Keep up the good work Blue Mountain!!
