It is a rare circumstance a boiler that switches over to a cooling system in summer. I would think a inspector would be curious about unknown things or at minimum suggest to have it further inspected by an expert. He missed to many other things too many to list, he did come back and fix many of the issues he missed. To say he was having an off day would be an understatement. The bottom line is the condo is a restoration project with walls down in 4 rooms. I can not move into and is taking months & extra resources before I can move into. Our cabinets are extra thick (Lafata) so the standard screws didn't fit and he had to improvise by removing the fronts of each drawer and cut the screws that were too long before he was even able to install the handles. We have 47 cabinets and drawers in our kitchen alone. He did all of this without complaining and even though it tripled the amount of time he had to put into the project he still charged us a very fair price! Before he left I asked if he knew how to put the mailbox in ( the one that you have to dig a post hole for) and he did that for us too! Jon is a lifesaver! When I texted and called (because he didn't) to see if anyone was coming, he wanted to postpone another week! Then he bailed out altogether! Leaving me stranded!
