I was told when I called to inform them that my card had been left in their machine, that I would have opportunity to verify the card belonged to me. I would have to wait until the ATM was serviced for them to retrieve the card and I would be contacted when that happened. When I was contacted by assistant manager "K" (the same woman I spoke to in the morning) she informed me that the card was cut up and could not be returned, without giving me opportunity to even prove the card belonged to me (even though I was told if I could prove it was mine it would be returned). She could show me nothing that stated they had the right to destroy it. This isn't my biggest issue. I am clearly upset because this is how I have access to my money and the assist manager treated me like complete garbage. She laughed at my misfortune with her co workers right in front of me and another bank employee mocked me for the custom photo I had on my card (which is versions of my face painted for halloween, which also proves the card belongs to me). Upon somewhat resolving the issue and having my bank card returned in a million pieces at the request of the Branch manager. When the assist manager got on the phone with the branch manager they continued to laugh at my misfortune and the fact that I was clearly upset. They had returned the card and I walked out of the Rochester branch hearing nothing but laughter. I am not a member at Federal Savings Bank and after today's experience I will never be. As a customer service rep myself, I believe the Management should provide a standard that can be used as an example on how all customers should be treated. Being laughed at during my experience and also as I was leaving is a disgusting way to treat a customer, which I became when I agreed to their fee's.

Features and Fees being better is a misnomer, particularly here... service here is HORRIBLE and it's no better a deal. I usually hold off on negative reviews as sometimes places have off-days or the occasional bad hire, but everything about Service CU seemed to be bad on a systemic level. In fairness to the tellers I've had to go through in person to get things done, I think they are simply provided no training.... and quite frankly they are less than useless. Officers on the phone aren't much better, when and if you can get an issue escalated. After 6 months or so, being tired of trying to getting things straightened out I closed my account.... or so I thought. The rocket scientist I spoke with never closed it, so fees mounted.. and mounted... and there's no winning that argument. A few years later it was a mark on my credit report that needed addressed before mortgage paperwork could go through. Extortion I tells yah! Beware a financial institution expanding as quickly and into such lavish buildings as this, its because they're ripping people off.

True I did have my credit reports are frozen. Yet all they had to do was contact me and I would have lifted the freeze and all would have been fine! I basically waited 4 days for nothing. Customer Service is an absolute JOKE!!!

This bank engages is dishonest almost criminal business practices. Theyre website and apps are…read moremissing basic functionality like the ability to pay the last statement balance on loans with an external bank account. I have a HELOC loan with this bank and had autopay setup wirh an external bank but since i cant select the last statemrnt balance, I had to manually enter in an amount. When the monthly payment went up due to the loan not being a fixed interest, I paid less than the balance by roughly 50$ without knowing. The bank only notified the payment was short in their monthky statement they mailed to me. The incomplete/partial payment did not show up on the app or website. They then reported that I was 30 days late to the credit bureaus eithout even a courtesy call to let me know there was a partial payment due! They have since refused to remove it from the credit bureau stating even though itnwas caused by a limitation if their system, it was still technically a late payment so it is an accurate reporting! They dont even deny it was their fault! Stay away from this company unless you like constantly having to check if your payment was made completely because you cant setup autopay for an account with an adjustable rate.
