My mastercard works everywhere the Mascoma card won't. Mascoma was recommended to my by my Investment Firm counselor. I've NEVER had this much trouble with a credit card nor a bank before. They do not have lobby hours on the weekend - how convienent since most people work all week and now we have to take time off to come in to a place we did not want to go in the first place because the online banking is absolute crap. They keep updating and changing their apps - so much so that ACHs that I personally set up in the old system are now permanent and uneditable, and you can't stop or adjust them unless you want to pay the bank 30 bucks per transaction. I do not recommend using this bank EVER.

They are a bit unforgiving with their fees, and they don't have any ATMs except at the bank itself (and recently that one was broken). Mallory the bank teller led me on a wild goose chase. My mother passed away, left the key to a…read morelockbox. I show up with the key and Mallory tells me i need a death certificate. I come back later with a death certificate and she tells me I need to petition the probate court to get access to the lock box, even though I am the executor of the will, have the key and my Moms death certificate. As a result of Mallory not knowing her business, I wasted a day while mourning, running around and accomplished nothing, while being no closer to knowing if the lockbox contains information on my Moms burial wishes. As a 20 year customer of citizens bank, I am extremely disappointed that the bank would employ someone with no knowledge, say nothing about her cold and careless delivery.

We all agreed we had the right amt and I left with the bank check. Well apparently the teller misplaced $300 and they're trying to say the video doesn't show the correct amt. So the teller misplaces $300 and they call me to tell me they're gonna take it out of my other daughters CD How does this fall on me to prove when she gave me the check because it was counted correctly? Clearly the teller misplaced the money. This has caused me more anxiety than I ever want to deal with in a day and I have to go back tomorrow for some more anxiety. Put your money anywhere but here.
